I surprised my wife by booking one night in this charming hotel in the French country side of Normandy, leaving the kids to friends, and we absolutely loved it. The site is just unique: a beautiful French style 18th century castle in a beautiful park. This hotel has its own restaurant next door in an old barn that serves creative and delicious French food. The environment is really quiet and romantic. Our room was recently renovated and it was cosy and comfortable. We left in the morning after a good French style breakfast (fresh coffee, pastries and jam) with a smooth checkout. We felt very welcome by the staff and we will definitely come back and take more time to visit the surroundings.

The property is set in a beautiful little village, away from the big city. We loved the setting and the property itself. The owners were excellent communicators. The place was spotless.     We liked the location, the beautiful building; maybe a little tired in places, but we know how difficult & expensive it is to maintain such a chateau. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and his staff and the dinner was terrific. Breakfast was good, too.
