We also enjoyed the rural location yet only a short drive to Nottingham. We come from rural New Zealand so enjoyed being out of the city. The dining was great with both indoor and outdoor options. Fantastic home-cooked meals . Room was very clean. Great stopover if you are wanting to avoid the city.
