Cactus is a new modern hotel. The staff is helpful and polite. Good soundproofing, well thought lighting in the room, plenty of electric sockets, spacious balconies. The hotel area is well maintained. They have a kids' pool (85cm depth) and a main pool (variable depth) with inflatable mattresses available for guests' entertainment. The room was equipped with AC unit and a huge fan on the ceiling, which actually blows upward so we got dispersed reflected air flow which is better. We haven't used the AC a lot because the temperature in our room was fine during the day. Hot water in the bathroom was always present but we had to wait for half a minute sometimes. And they even made hooks for the towels (some hotels don't). Beds have comfortable hard mattresses, though there were two of them on our double bed. The breakfast area sometimes gets full, but they have a lot of tables around the main pool where guests can eat too. The hotel provides free beach towels and sun umbrellas (limited availability) on demand. Our 4yo boy was fond of the hotel area and the kids' pool, but he doesn't need playgrounds for his games only his parents :) Also we were able to connect USB flash drive with his favorite cartoons in the room Smart TV, but you can also stream Youtube videos from your mobile phone directly. The rectangular private parking area can accommodate at least 15 cars or even more quad bikes which are rather popular on the island. It always had free spots, but on some days it was close to be full.

The room was pretty big, clean, with a powerful AC that made all the difference. In front of the room there was an Orange tree so I could enjoy a freshly squeezed juice every morning, courtesy of the owners who invited me to help myself. Lemon trees all over the property that turned into lemonade for the hot summer days. A short walk to the beach - 8-10 min. I really appreciated the cold water that I found in my fridge upon arrival. :)

We had a great stay at this lovely boutique hotel! The owner was super friendly and gave us great local tips – we all appreciated how involved and welcoming he was. The staff was also very kind and helpful. One morning they didn’t have something we asked for at breakfast, and the next day they had it ready for us – such a nice touch! The rooms and the whole place were extremely clean. Even though it’s in a lively area, the hotel was quiet and calm, and all the guests were respectful. We usually stay at 5-star hotels, and this one really impressed us. We’re happy we chose it and would definitely come back!

I loved the location of the place - far away from the noisy Laganas but still at a less than 10 minute walk from the main street. The host, Maria, was very polite and positive. The room was clean and had a great view. The hairdrier is great and is very convenient. The towels were good and smelled great which you can't really see everywhere. Bonus points for two very friendly and lovable cats!!!

    Very nice hotel, cheap bar with good food and drinks, pool very clean and nice sun-beds. Perfect location, 5 mins to strip and 5 mins to shops and restraunts. Workers all lovely and very accommodating, let us check out late no cost.

    Owners are lovely, the place obviously is a little outside of laganas and has no pool etc. but that’s all advertised. The road that it’s on has plenty of bars and restaurants and everything, so location wasn’t a big deal (15/20 mins to strip). Also plenty of pools nearby with free access. The place was nice and pretty calm. Cleaner came every morning and changed sheets every 3/4 days. No hassle at all, great budget spot for a lads holiday.

    The host Denise was super friendly and we saw her daily when she would pop in just to check up on us. The location was ideal (less than 5 minutes from Laganas without being too loud!). Very clean, more spacious than expected and extremely good value for money. It surpassed all our expectations and was everything that we wanted!

    The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. The location was great. When checking out, we asked about the possibility of storing our luggage in the hotel, since our flight didn't leave until the evening. They let us keep our room longer which was a very pleasant surprise. We had a great time at the hotel. We spent a lot of time on the terrace of our room and at the pool. The pool bar has good refreshments at an affordable price.
