Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Great location close enough to Blóndous, but far enough away to be cozy and private. Lovely atmosphere and great owners. Very easy to talk with and extremely accommodating hosts. Was a great stay!

Two rooms next to each other and next to the kitchen (for 4 people) and one which is on the other side of the cottage, where I slept with my fiancé (I like the fact that I didn’t hear my snoring grandma). Perfect I like the rock in front of the door, really sweet

This guesthouse was extremely comparable and safe. Great location and beautiful scenery! Full kitchen and hot tub! We really enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend staying here!

We found this on a whim because we had gone to the wrong guesthouse so we had to find somewhere else to stay. We were pleasantly surprised! When we pulled up we thought we were at a school until we saw the hotel sign. It ended up being super cool that it was an old school. They had the cafeteria, which is now the dining area and there’s even a gymnasium. The rooms are down what would be normal classroom hallways. We got a room with our own bathroom but you can get a room with no bath cheaper but you share shower and bath like you would in college. The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating! We ate dinner there, which was fantastic. Breakfast the next morning was good as well. They did our laundry for a fee and had it ready the next morning. They even came and knocked on our door to let us all know that the northern lights were out. Our driving error ended up being and pleasant surprise.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Skagaströnd, Stuðlaberg is a vacation home surrounded by views of the mountain.

The lounge area, the kitchen, and the outdoor space were the best aspects. Rooms and bathroom were small but serviceable. The inside was rather stylish, was not expecting that, pleasantly surprised!

This guesthouse is one our favorites throughout our 11 nights in Iceland. The owner was very kind and attentive. The place was very clean and tidy. The kitchen has everything you need plus many herbs to use. The bed was very comfy. The view from our room was breathtaking. Don’t hesitate to book a room with the view !!
