Our host Giuseppe was OUTSTANDING in every way imaginable from the date of the booking to and through our departure, meeting us at the parking area, helping us with our bags, answering all our questions, arranging a time to visit the Armento Comune the following day, helping us to where to go to get wonderful complimentary coffee/breakfast and arranging to have a amazing gourmet dinner delivered his fabulous apartment the first night and arranging dinner again the next night at Soto L’Art where the gourmet food, wine and ambience is without equal. Giuseppe, you and B&B Coast to Coast are a blessing to us and all travelers in proximity of Armento, a beautiful ancient village on an enchanted hilltop along Val D’Agri🙏🏻🥰
Rosaria could not have been more welcoming! Our grandparents were born in Gallicchio and Rosaria showed us all around the old town, where they would have lived, and took us to other historical places, like the cemetery. Everything at Terra D’Oriente was tasteful and clean. The bed was really comfortable. Also, the family makes various high-quality baked goods, like biscotti and finoro al finocchio, and there was a very generous supply of these, as well coffee, teas, milk, breakfast toasts, cookies, water and yogurt. The kitchen is very small but has everything you need. There are also some sweet (outside) kitties.
The property is conveniently located and well equipped. The owner is wonderful and accommodating.
The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. We were able to self check-in easily and greeted the owner, Rodolfo, the next day. Breakfast was included at the cafe across the street, "Manhattan." Caffe and Cornetto. The room was spacious and clean. Included everything we needed. We cannot wait to visit again soon. Highly Recommend!
Very nice place. Kindness and availability. To be recommended.
The owner/chef Joseph Cirigliano made sure we were well taken care of during our stay. He arranged a car service to take us to visit our grandmother’s town, opened his restaurant for our dinner, and made sure the kitchen was filled with snacks and beverages. He knew were we Italian Americans and surprised us with roasted chestnuts fresh from his trees, and many other extras. It is a great place to stay in Bascilicata.
