Andrea, Salvatore and their dad went above and beyond to make my stay the best possible. Their little family home is perfectly located just a couple minute walk to downtown. You can see the castle ruins from the terrace one direction and the mountains the other direction. Having coffee or eating a meal on the terrace is wonderful. It's very peaceful up there watching the birds. The room is just right for one person or a couple. The bathroom is tiny, but it's typical Italy and quite lovely. Up a steep stairway to the kitchen/living room you'll find it to be very spacious and all the necessary items to make a meal if you choose to eat in. There are not enough stars for me to rate high enough. My first trip to Italy was a dream come true. Thank you Salvatore, Andrea and your dad. I'll be back and I hope to stay again!

We stayed off season and for one night. It was absolutely perfect - quiet, fresh air, privacy, wonderful host, great value for money. It is an agroturismo property , it is charming old style and decor, very clean, all basic necessities are there. For the budget level price, it is an excellent value. There is also a pizza and stake restaurant on the property, it opens for dinner at 19:30 so it was a bit late for us and we haven’t tried it. But when we asked in town for a good meat restaurant, everyone sent us back to Sesemi :). The town center is less than 5 min walk. There is a steep and winding road down to the property. We had no problem driving down in our little Fiat 500. If you are not comfortable though, just park on the side of the road and walk down to the property ( either along the long drive way, enjoying blooms and blossoms or take steep old stone stairs to cut right down to the house)

Owner was very helpful, courteous, friendly, and eager to please. While he could not speak English as I am American, he was still able to communicate using translation on his phone. He was very helpful and informative about Mistretta. The room has great potential. It was a lovely spacious layout For one or two people. The view from the breakfast area was awesome. Great, vantage point. The common areas looked quite nice although I did not use them. Owner was an excellent host.

We received a lovely reception. Our host was accommodating and patient with the check in when we had technical difficulties retrieving our identification. The room was spacious and spotless and comfortable and clean. In the morning we were presented with a lovely breakfast buffet and omelettes made to order by the kindest smiling chef. I cannot recommend this experience enough. We would love to return.

The most beautiful view from my room in my whole trip to Sicily. Everything was clean, comfortable and quiet. Hosts were very helpful in helping me get bike to the door. The breakfast place had the best cappuccino and croissant. Highly recommend.

The hosts were so kind and helpful. They upgraded me to a ground floor room due to my foot injury. Made wonderful recommendations for restaurants. Beds very comfortable normally i find beds in europe a little too firm. Loved the coffee machine in the room and wonderful spaciuos shower
