Cheap hotels in Gallivaggio

The hotel is on the way to Switzerland with a free parking, very convenient They have nice terrace and warm rooms. However, choose queen beds room, cause twin room has tiny window only.

Very friendly help desk. Good Italian village with local restaurant and nice local food. Good breakfast

Excellent location Big and clean room, facing a wonderful view. Friendly staff, free parking behind church or next to hotel / restaurant

Beautiful Refugio, fantastic location, wonderful hosts and exceptional first class dinner and breakfast.

The location of the property is right after the end of Splugel pass. It is a crowded camping place but surprisingly it was quiet. The room was clean and equipped with a kitchenette. Italian breakfast was served.

A nice quiet location set in a lovely mountain valley. Staff were super kind; food was delightfully fresh.

We had a two-night stopover in this delightful rustic cottage, which has been lovingly restored and updated. It’s extremely tranquil and retains many typical alpine features and authentic fittings and is perfect for people who love nature and history. The building has been fully renovated with modern heating. The kitchen and bathroom are also in excellent condition and were spotlessly clean. We were welcomed by extremely friendly and helpful hosts (two generations of locals – and the cottage was great grandmother’s). Olmo village is at about 1,000 meters and is accessed by a winding mountain road. When you arrive, you have spectacular views across the Valchiavenna and plenty of opportunities for trekking. There are many good dining options in Chiavenna and a rural agriturismo restaurant 30-40 minutes’ walk away. The main Lake Como attractions and St. Moritz are both feasible day trips (1.15-1.30 one-way drives).

Staff were great and helpful. We traveled with motorbike from Splugenpass and location is great if you want to do multiple drives. Restaurant is great place to spend evening. Their homemade vine is great!

An amazing location a total one off I will always remember this place.

Immaculate and so tastefully decorated. Hosts were lovely people and so helpful❤️ Bottled water--coffee. Friendly neighborhood 😉 We loved everything about this beautiful apartment and had a wonderful time in Chiavenna which became our favorite Italian City ❤️

The apartment is extremely clean and has everything one needs, plus thoughtful touches. There are spices, oil, coffee, cold water, ice cubes, hand soap, body wash, etc. Cute magazines about the region were fun and informative to read. The garage helped us not to have to worry about our car. The river and mountain view is gorgeous, and I personally enjoyed having the river so close to listen to it rushing by. It's sound covers up any street noise. Below the balcony, we gazed upon neighbors' pomegranate tree and pretty garden. Agostino is responsive, friendly and professional. He met us to explain everything clearly and gave great tips. The beautiful town center is a few minutes away on foot. We walked to dinner along a path by the river. Breakfast at a nearby cafe was delicious. Thank you, Agostino!

The host was helpful, kind and communicative. The apartment was extremely clean and presentable. The bathroom was spotless and the bath was comfortable. The view was gorgeous.

The apartment was organized so charming and lovely. There was a beautiful garden, too. Apparently a lot of efforts have been done to keep this property so clean and flawless, really admirable. There was an attic, kids would love. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. She came upstairs and made us really nice breakfast every morning. Staying here is one of our dearest memories in Italy. Free parking was offered, big plus!

Location was great. Apartment clean
