We had a wonderful experience at Trance Rabara Resort! We stayed for 3 nights in this wonderful castle, we occupied all their 4 rooms (one more room was out of booking for maintenance reasons), the personal is great, they welcomed and did their best to make our stay unforgettable. The weather is better then the coastal one as you are literally in the mountains surrounded by forests. Definitely will come there again

Beautiful place. Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka. Blown away by wonderful Sri Lankan hospitality again. Such good food. Pool was fantastic to swim in as well as option to swim in river. Very peaceful location, perfect for relaxing. Accessed by little boat ride across the river. Highly recommend. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

It is a beautiful home. The owners Lakmini and MG are among some of the kindest souls I have ever met. In fact, I spent my first whole week just in their presence because I enjoyed their company so much! I also really loved Lakmini’s meals - everything was extremely tasty. The property, location, and staff all exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and deeply quiet. The shower pressure and hot water was amazing! The staff were attentive to our every need. The food was great with a lot of variety. The pool was a simply magnificent experience every day. We felt deeply rested and recharged from our stay at Ahas Gawwa. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to get off the tourist trail and experience Sri Lanka in all Her hospitality and wilderness.
