The location is a real peace for the mind and soul. Located only 30min from the airport, this location is very nice to spend your first day(s) to recover from your flight. Father and son are great and nothing is asked too much. They even arranged the sightseeing in Columbia for us.

Large clean comfortable bedroom and large clean bathroom, large floor to ceiling windows, with so many little extras - fresh juice in chilled glass on arrival - delicious. The a/c was turned on prior to my arrival, so room was cool when I arrived. Quiet a/c, the quietest a/c I encountered in 3 weeks 🙌 The pictures are accurate including the fancy arranged towels! So many guest houses show fancy towel animals and colorful decorations, this was the only one out of 9, where the picture matched the bedding. The staff is amazing! Great to have a fridge/freezer for cold drinks 🙌There is a towel rack, tons of storage shelf’s, Tv, good pillows & WiFi, parking, lots of towels, wash cloth’s, toothbrush, bedside light, ceiling fan, shampoo/shower gel/lotion/hairdryer, and large pool towels, full kitchen (let them cook for you instead). Pool is clean, great way to cool off, water warm. Host is always fast/easily reachable. Peaceful, quiet, and private. The house is shared by 3 guest rooms - the hosts live in the house next door, on the other side of large brick wall. Delicious natural/homemade breakfast & dinner, much better than in town; way more food than you can eat. Nice to come back after day of exploring to a delicious meal prepared. Kind, peaceful, attentive, accommodating host, that lets you know your business is appreciated! Too many good things to even list it all. I didn’t want to leave. After booking one night, I had to come back and stay 2 more nights for a total of 3. It’s just that relaxing. I broke a glass and asked for broom, but they wouldn’t let me clean it. when I offered to pay for it, host said no, you are our guest. 🤗 I never asked, the host just offered to let me stay on property & use pool after my check out until my flight. All around amazing stay and experience. I am so blessed to have had the chance to stay here.

HeI had a fantastic stay at Wetland Resort! It’s a small, extremely clean, and comfortable place. The pool is spotless and inviting, and the rooms are modern with comfortable beds and even a small kitchen, which is a great touch. The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. They went above and beyond to help us, including arranging transportation and even preparing a special meal we requested that wasn’t on the menu. Their kindness and attentiveness made our experience truly memorable. I highly recommend this resort, especially for a convenient stopover near the airport. I would absolutely stay here again!

Very quiet location, and a short walk to the main street. Cafes and restaurants all walking distance. Staff is very helpful. There is a call bell in the common area if you need them. Very clean and modern. Rooms have Air conditioning and fan. Please note that you do need to walk up a staircase to access the rooms.

We had the most lovely time here at the end of our trip in Sri Lanka. Stayed for 4 nights and everything was super clean super comfy. The hosts were very friendly and greeted us when we came and when we left and was super helpful in helping us find restaurants and other amenities nearby. I would definitely come stay here again

°Sonja and Bernard are the best. They're so kind, understanding and they do everything they could to make you happy. °The cleaning was done not in two seconds as everybody does in different countries. They cleaned the place like for themselves. °The food was good. °The room was huge. °Everything worked well. °The pool was maintained very well. °I had some probs at work and Bernard and Sonja were so kind to me letting me go one week earlier than planned, they refunded the amount exactly as it was supposed to be. Oh, I'm so touched by these people and their kind hearts. °If you want to relax and you're tired of the city, metropolis noise, hussle and stuff, this place is ideal for you. Or maybe a one-two-three day stay for chilling before going to the next place. I'd never advise any other places but this. You'd never regret it.

    We booked a room at this hotel for one night as a resting place for a few hours before our flight. The room was on the ground floor, which makes it ideal for anyone with low mobility. The room was very clean. We found the host very welcoming. The location was ideal for the airport but not great for eateries.

    Our stay was excellent - the rooms are spotless, very comfortable and spacious. The owner was extremely helpful and even helped to organize a tour for us at a reasonable price and gave us a lift when there were no taxis. The owners are amazing, kind and helpful people.     Great value for money! It's close to the airport and the owner has many secret locations to go to which are perfect and less costly to be in. The airport transfer is also comparatively cheaper and rooms are very clean. Definitely worth staying in this place for a few days and explore the area here.
