Cheap hotels in Wellerlooi

Great location! The proprietors Olav and Brigitte were fantastic hosts. We rode our bikes on a terribly rainy day, and they assisted us with our baggage and even cleaning the bikes off too. The room was excellent - first class linens, and great bathroom products. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic too - we enjoyed a nice sampling of yogurts, meats and cheeses. We even got to sample several of the cheeses that Brigitte sells in her store. Arcen is a quaint beautiful little town, and La Dominette is right in the center. Wonderful restaurants are within a 50 meter or less walk. This is an outstanding B & B - one of the very best we’ve ever stayed in!!

Everything! The staff was warm and welcoming. We were able to arrive late with ease, after the reception had closed. In the morning we were given a short tour/overview of the hotel and its set up. Next time we will enjoy the hotel’s breakfast! For us the location was perfect. We brought our bikes and within a 10 min pedal we found the charming village of Arcen. A very short pedestrian /bike ferry (about 1 euro per person one way) transported us, where the bike path ends at the river, going back and forth every couple of minutes. We enjoyed a tasty lunch and ice cream in front of the ferry drop in the town, visited the Arcen Castle with amazing gardens. Landhuis Hotel de Hilkensberg had some very clear and helpful loop routes mapped out in the hotel welcome book as well as distances by car and bike to area towns/restaurants/activities. We found the hotel at the last minute and this made planning our short one day visit easy to plan. The good sized room was modern and tastefully decorated w/ nature in mind. The bed was comfortable. We were able to walk out our bottom floor room to a patio. Luggage can be brought in w/ a short walk from the parking lot avoiding stairs. The park like grounds are breathtaking, including a large natural looking pond pool. There are beautiful places to sit, lounge, relax enjoying a book, a drink, foods from the hotel or items brought by guests. We enjoyed the fire pit roasting marshmallows (even though we arrived after 10 pm. The outdoor commons buildings /spaces are like something out of a magazine. We enjoyed a walk of the grounds enjoying the ponds with koi, shaded walkways and grassy lawn and visiting the alpacas and sheep. Had we stayed longer we would have enjoyed the well designed architectural sauna which blends in with the landscape so well. We will share the hotel experience we have with friends and would love to return with friends and family. In addition, the staff was warm and welcoming!

Beautiful home with my own little mini apartment! They had everything I needed.

It was very clean and well maintained. The staff were extremely helpful and accomodating.

Beautiful, private, very clean little house with private bathroom. Enough space for three adults and a little dog. Self check-in and check-out were very easy and convenient, easy communication via email. Heating system works very well. Love the little terrace and the view.

The spacious room and bathroom. The bathroom and toilet are separate which is convenient for just in case situations. Towels were perfect just as the beds. Coffee tasted good in the room. Breakfast was good enough. Ambience of the accomodation as well as the breakfast section was nice. Staff super friendly even when we arrived a bit late in the evening and that the key was left in a cabinet outside and a note posted on the reception entrance door for us. Plus it came in handy it was near the Arcen Castlegarden we planned to visit (1 minute drive).

Very clean and modern, free parking and excellent breakfast.

Great location a moments walk to town center
