We had an amazing 7-day stay at Fat Lips Surf Lodge, even during the island-wide power outage. Despite the challenges, the entire crew went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. The lodge is in an ideal location in Catangnan, just a short ride from Cloud 9 and General Luna, with a peaceful garden view surrounded by lush greenery. Tim was incredible, always checking in to ensure everything was okay. With a generator, running water, and fast Wi-Fi, we had everything we needed and never felt inconvenienced. Huge thanks to Kuya Julius, his wife, and the rest of the fantastic team for making us feel so at home. We also had the chance to meet Apple (Tim’s wife), who is so kind and cool. She even gave us some awesome Fat Lips merch to remember our trip! 🙈 And, of course, lil Stevie stole our hearts. We already miss that sweet little guy! 🥹❤️ P.S. You also get a 10% discount at their shop and on surfboard rentals, which was such a nice bonus. We’re already planning to come back next year — and this time, we’re staying for a whole month! Salamat Karajaw, Fat Lips crew! 🤙

It's in a quiet area, which we truly appreciated. Room was comfortable, clean, spacious, and had all the items that we needed during our stay. The staff were also warm and wonderful. Tarun was quite helpful with airport transfers as well.

Our stay was a charming retreat that left myself and hubby utterly captivated and rejuvenated. We can't wait to go back. The host, Johan, warmly welcomed us with genuine hospitality. The bubble is nestled amidst lush greenery, surrounded by rice field and hills. The journey to the bubble was already a treat with the nice landscapes along the way. The design of the bubbles allowed us to connect with nature while maintaining a level of privacy and comfort. Every details were very well thought of. I especially loved sleeping under the stars and waking up to breathtaking sunrise. The host arranged wine for us making our stay extra special. Breakfast is also available on request. I am particular with cleanliness of linens on hotels/resorts I stay, and this place got it right. Two thumbs up for the 5-star feel we had blending unparalleled tropical escape with a touch of luxury and sustainability. I am glad we stayed in the first ever bubble in the Philippines.

We really felt at home and being cared about. Gigi and her family are the best hosts, very attentive to details, helping to resolve any questions, organizing your stay to be as comfy as possible. Personnel are great, always welcoming you with shining genuine smiles, delicious homey breakfast, tidy rooms and neat facilities. What's included: -stunning view over the sea for each room -new clean facilities -small gym on the rooftop with a bunch of fans and sea breeze -tasty breakfast with freshly cut fruits -big pool, sunbeds, showers -small beach with kayaks and sup for free use -perfect location in proximity to all cafes and right in between the 2 boat stops to depart to surfing spots

I love the individual bahay kubo concept. The kubos are well built. It was great to sit on the chairs outside. The room and the shared kitchen had complete amenities and appliances. This homestay is a short walk to many restaurants and bars. The staff were very friendly and accomodating to our requests. Thanks Camanolo!
