Everything was perfect. The place is ideally situated in a kind of rural area full of beautiful family houses, quiet and safe. However, it still is only 5 km outside the center of Ljubljana, which you can access by car in less than 10 minutes. You can park your car right in the premises without any extra cost, which comes in handy for those who travel by car to explore the rest of the country. There are a couple of big supermarkets in the neighbourhood, open all day long, offering anything you may need. It should be mentioned that we had a car to drive to and from the center of Ljubljana, so I cannot comment on the transportation options available near the apartment. The room is spacious, with plenty of storage space, equipped with everything you might ask for and more. It is beautifully decorated, with attention to the last detail, impeccably clean and smelling great. The AC worked perfectly, which was really important during our summer stay. We particularly enjoyed the shower pressure and the fact that the fridge could cool water and refreshments really fast. We had the opportunity to meet the owner upon our departure. He is friendly, very welcoming and willing to answer all questions. In the apartment, he leaves useful information regarding the city and some restaurant suggestions, along with a bottle of homemade wine we, unfortunately, did not have the chance to enjoy. All in all, it is a place worth staying that we wholeheartedly recommend. Will definitely come back if we ever visit Ljubljana again!

My family and I had a truly memorable stay at House 1797. The home is beautifully restored, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped—including a gorgeous, fully stocked kitchen. It was so easy to settle in and feel completely at home. It’s just a short 20-minute drive from Ljubljana, and all the essentials like supermarkets and shopping centers are within walking distance. Yet, the area still has a peaceful village charm that makes it feel like a real escape. What really made our stay special was the host. He was warm, friendly, and always available whenever we needed anything. You can tell he genuinely cares about the place and the guests. We left with wonderful memories and would wholeheartedly recommend House 1797 to anyone seeking a quiet, charming getaway in Slovenia. We’d love to return!

    The breakfasts were very tasty, prepared every day by very nice lady. The location is perfect for people who want to travel around Slovenia by car. Rooms are tidy, they have recently been renovated. Towels changed daily. We are very pleased with our stay.

    There was excellent communication with the host, making the checkin process very smooth. There was also an abundant amount of breakfast items prepared for us, which was really nice. The house was also very clean and spacious and had lots of amenities. 10/10 would stay here again.

    Spacious, tasteful and very clean apartment with huge terrace and marvelous view. Sumptuous breakfast provisions in the fridge. Sauna :-). Very responsive host. Easy access to trails. Parking just opposite the main door. Below the apartment there is a great restaurant.

    Pre arrival our host provided all the information we needed. The property is a little gem in a small village on the top of a hill which guarantees an amazing view. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Breakfast materials are placed in the fridge pre arrival. There were many items to choose from. Value for money. We would definitely stay there again.

    The best place we stayed in Slovenia. A beautifully laid out apartment, very clean and comfortable, in an amazing location. The fridge was well stocked with breakfast things (enough for us to also make a light evening meal!). The owner was very communicative (though we never met them in person). Netflix included. The local cat was very friendly!!! We only stayed two nights, but could happily have stayed there a week.
