Host picked us up at train station and gave us a tour of the town before checking us into a well appointed small cottage. He and his son, Vern, offered suggestions, Alaska information and stories through our stay. He was also helpful in obtaining a common medical device.

    Beautiful and spotless! This cabin was the best accommodation on our whole 7 day trip. We had a huge window that overlooked the woods. The owners were very friendly and accommodating.

    The owners were great, very welcoming. In the evening they started a bonfire and the kids were able to roast marshmallows and we were able to relax with great conversation. The cabin was much nicer then I expected and very clean, having a small kitchenette was perfect for our family. They provided a full coffee maker with coffee, loved our stay and would stay here again.
