We visited here to hike at Watkins Glen and also to break up the drive to Niagara Falls, and did not regret staying here. The property overlooks the lake - there is no lake access but there are nice trails that run to a creek and waterfall that makes for a nice hike. Rocky, the owner's chocolate lab, is such a sweet dog and we enjoyed having him around. We stayed in a room with a balcony that overlooks the lake, and it was nice in the evening to sit with a beer or wine and enjoy the view. The staff at the in-house restaurant was also very warm and attentive.

fun glamming for the first time!! the down comforter and hot water bottles kept me warm in the bed on the first cool and rainy weekend of the Fall. the bathrooms are modern and convenient. the property is located next to the Watkins Glen international raceway where I was racing and is minutes to downtown Watkins Glen. The tent was cozy and there were fire pits and wood for nice fires. the owner stays on the property and is very attentive to your needs.

I always love the view of being able to step outside of my room and see all of the lake. The best sunrise you will ever see! It’s only 8 rooms which means it’s not crowded with people and it’s very quiet. They also redid the bathrooms from my previous time there and they look amazing!

This was the cleanest privately owned motel I have stayed at. Bed was comfortable location was great. Tops across the street and liquor and beer store. Very busy ice creamery next door.

Cleaner than I expected. It’s a motel vibe but got my moneys worth. Staff were very nice and friendly. My only suggestion would be to maybe remove the extra tables and just replace it was a closet to hang clothes.
