Incredible place! My favourite homestay during 3 weeks solo traveling on motorcycle in North Vietnam. The place is so beautifull, calm, authentic. Its a good destination in your journey not only great place to stay. The host speaks good english and its verry ispiring how she created this place. Local village has friendly people, I was lucky enough to join local festival and experience authentic dinners and celebration together with host. The house is soo magickal, you can watch sunset, read a book, have dinner with host, watch stars in night. Everything was neat and beautifull. Highly recommend this experience.

1. Homestay is placed in the very nice place! Can see sunrise and sunset too. 2. The owner, Mr. Ky, is so kind and nice. We had a big support from him. He did guide me how to go safety since I went with my 2 sons. He guided me very clear which places are the best to visit and which places unsafe to go! We had amazing time in his homestay as well as in Mu Cang Chai. 3. Oh plus, the food are so delicious. My sons love it! All food what he had been cooked my sons clean up about 15 minutes! Thank you so much!

We booked the property at the last minute after arriving to Mu Cang Chai during the rain after a long motorbike ride. They were happy to greet us and the family who runs the home stay was so cute and tried to be accommodating. Everything was clean.

The breakfast was great. We tried the traditional breakfast of sticky rice and dried meat. It was unique and delicious. The homestay was in a beautiful location. It's in a valley surrounded by mountains. We particularly love the stream in the back of the homestay; beautiful, fresh, and cool. The owners are wonderful people. The staff are super helpful. We had a great relaxing stay there. Highly recommended!

Host is pretty friendly but doesn’t speak any English (but it’s ok we used google translate) :). There’s a pretty nice sitting/chilling area at the back with a very nice view. Beds are a bit hard in the dorm but it’s like everywhere else around here. They can cook good food for you. They offer basically just the one meal for dinner (meat, tofu, eggs and rice with some greens) and for breakfast (ramen noodles with an egg). Dinner is very affordable (50k) and breakfast is included. The building is right next to the road, so there’s a bit of road noises but nothing that disturbed my sleep. Loved this homestay! :)
