The location for us was perfect. The guesthouse is gorgeous. The property is outstanding. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and very nicely decorated. The hairdryer by a mirror is thoughtful. The security was incredible and made us feel very safe. The breakfast and kitchen setup is just perfect. There were plenty of items to choose from for snacks or breakfast. Jane herself was very kind and welcoming. I was sad we only stayed one night! The beds themselves were very firm and I was afraid they would be uncomfortable, but I slept very well! There is no air con, but the windows do open for a breeze that's needed after I used the hairdryer. Overnight, even in December, it was not hot or stuffy in the room. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location, spacious, comfortable and private. We were amazed to find that they have a system in place to keep all the lights working during power failures (loadshedding) and this made us feel very secure. Our best stay in South Africa. Excellent value. Very friendly hosts.

The place is very modern, very cute, load of natural light which makes waking up in the morning lovely. The place is super comfortable and private. The host are so kind and ensure everything is in order. The bed is soo comfortable and they provided an extra warm throw as well. Perfect stay!

We stayed for a night and checked-in late in the evening. The house is so beautiful (AND HUGE) and in the nicest area of Port Elizabeth. The host, Carol, was so welcoming and kept snacks and milk for us as we were arriving late. Everything functioned in the room as expected, things like hot water, room heater, kettle, electric blanket, car parking. The room had sufficient space. The kitchenette was adequately provisioned.

The facility is clean, comfortable and serene. Maude and William are absolutely delightful hosts who are attentive and go over and beyond to make guests comfortable. We undoubtedly recommend Soutelande and we'll definitely be coming back.
