The landlord was friendly and provided us with valuable local information related to obtaining cheap taxi rides to Benque or the border with Guatemala, it saved us atleast an hour. The room is exactly as the photos provided on the site. It was clean and tidy. Wifi reception was excellent. There are quite a few eateries and pubs around withing 300-500 meters. Cahal Pech Archeological Site is around 1km from this location. Sufficient clothes hangars provided.

The staff were incredible and went out of their way to help us. We had lunch at their restaurant in the building and it was great! The bed was comfy and we found the room to be quiet. Very clean. Warm shower. Location couldn't be better and was within walking distance of restaurants, market, bus station, Iguana Conservation center, and Cahal Pech. Breakfast was a bonus! I have zero complaints. Would stay here again

Really helpful contact with staff and information provided beforehand. Amazing location and thoughtfully arranged property at a reasonable price. Everything provided that was needed in the property, including a nice shared pool, and near to Blancaneux and Gaia lodges which have good restaurants (not cheap) if you don’t want to self-cater all meals. (Note: Gaia prices are in USD and exclusive of taxes).

It was clean, spacious, comfy hammocks outside, beautiful tropical garden and surrounding jungle, a swimming pool, fresh homemade cooking, super friendly chatty and helpful staff. It’s a short 25 m walk into San ignacio. We ate in all the time at Maya lodge for breakfast and dinner as both fantastic and also ordered take out for lunch. The location is ideal and they arrange tours for you with a reputable agency. Our guide to Caracol, falls and pools was excellent. We had a super relaxing time at Maya Lodge.

Great location on a farm. We were greeted to the sound of howler monkeys in the valley below, and woke to birdsong and cows. Friendly and attentive owners. Hearty breakfast reminiscent of English but definitely Belizean. No-frills dinner available at low cost. Room had great a/c and Wi-Fi. Closeness to Mayan site allowed us to arrive before the crowds. Quiet and peaceful location, the grounds are full of flowers. Great value. Shower worked well.
