The location is superb, right next to the Town Square in El Nido. It’s very easy to hire scooters or jump into a trike from here and get to all the main tour areas. The treat every night with the turndown service was also a lovely addition. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again at The Funny Lion.

After booking we received an email with all the information and details about the stay at Dryft so we knew what to expect. Beautiful isolated island with no conection with the outside world. It takes about 1.5h to get there from El Nido town (but i guess that is the only way to come to remote place) and the transport was well organised. We liked the food a lot, the portions are not big, but we didn't mind. The price for a meal is cca 450 PHP. I am vegan and asked for some vegan options for every meal and they prepared it just for me every day. Is was one of the best meals I had in Philippines. Everything was clean, hut as well as the beach. There were staff cleaning the beach every morning. The service is very slow, but I guess it is all part of the relaxed vibe.

We got to enjoy the facilities especially the swimming pool as they had a separate one apart from the main pool. They also have an amazing view of the ocean and the surrounding islands at their rooftop bar that also had a jacuzzi. The hotel itself offered complimentary non-alcoholic drinks everyday - this was freshly delivered in our room after clean up. They also provided complimentary evening snacks which was a delight every time we would be back after a night out. The food they serve is delicious but it definitely is a westernized menu, so if you are looking for something more local going out is advised! An employee called Philip, was brilliant! He remembered our names throughout our stay and was always very helpful, and made sure our needs were met. He was genuinely friendly and warm, he wasn't too imposing which can be difficult for my husband and I as we are quite the introvert. The establishment is environmentally conscious and promotes sustainability throughout their facilities. Overall, I cannot fault our stay at this hotel. We would gladly stay at their other locations given the opportunity again. Highly recommend!

The place is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Even though there is some construction happening at the moment, it didn’t bother us at all — the atmosphere is still peaceful and relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The location is great, close to the beach and perfect for exploring El Nido. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again once everything is fully finished! Highly recommended! 🌴✨
