If you like magical water falls and streams outside your door, a comfortable eco camp, the coolest tree we saw during our travel and an opportunity to immerse yourself in Costa Rican culture this is the place for you. Also, the food is super delicious and sources from the extensive local gardens that attract butterflies and hummingbirds all day long.

We booked this last minute, but what a treasure and special place to find. The location has fabulous mountain views. The bungalow we stayed in was great, large very comfortable bed. The bathroom had a jacuzzi which was nice for an evening relaxing. There was a Nespresso coffee machine and fridge, but no kitchen area which was fine for us. Outside there is plenty of seating, small pool area, table tennis, fire pit or bbq if wanted to use. The hosts were super friendly, and although we didn’t speak Spanish they made every effort to ensure we had a nice stay. We even had a little tour of the land and ate bananas fresh from the tree - best bananas ever, creamy and tasty. Thank you for our time with you, and delicious breakfast.

The cabin sits on the edge of the mountain and has an amazing view over the valley and the surrounding nature. A nearby stream runs through the blackberry fields and when the clouds circle the cabin, the fire keeps you warm and toasty. I could go on forever about each delicious meal brought to our doorstep, the shower which competes with 5* Hotel showers (and would win), the people living in the nearby pueblo and the nature which reminds me so much of the alpes. Erlyn and his fairy helpers made our stay pure enjoyment!! I will be back, probably when it is time to harvest wild blueberries :)
