Beautiful and peaceful location right next to a big pond with lots of greenery. The accommodation itself and everything in it seem brand new and fully equipped. The hosts are really friendly. There's a high-speed and relatively cheap electric car charger a couple of km away. It was great for us, a family with two young children. We wish we could have stayed longer and would love to come back.

The cabin is very large and looks very new (the smell of the pinewood is amazing). It was very clean and the beds are good. I was the only guest there so had all the room to myself. The view from the large windows was also very nice. Only very small thing is that there is no WiFi, but the 4G in the area is good enough. Besides that, I mostly read so didn't need WiFi really.

This property is really well-situated in the Liege area of the Ardennes, and is walkable/short car ride to a lot of nice hikes (eg, Hoegne valley). The gite itself is very lovely and well-taken-care-of (feels brand new, actually). The owners are delightful and very helpful. Charlotte makes delicious food that you can also order to the gite if you don't want to cook for yourself or venture out - we had a lovely quiche lunch one day. Grocery stores etc. are quite close (5-10 mins by car) though if you want to get your own supplies.
