GermanyWe chose this lodge because of its convenient location on the route from the Atlantic coast to Etosha. Along the way, we also had time to visit Spitzkoppe. Even before our arrival, I could tell we were in for a special experience: the owner was in touch with us regularly, asking in advance about the group’s meal preferences and helping coordinate our arrival.
The property is a truly beautiful oasis, almost like a botanical garden. It features not only a pool and charming bungalows, but also a unique lounge with a balcony overlooking a waterhole, where you can watch wildlife up close. The lodge also has its own beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious food.

Most of all I liked the staff: Mr. Gift with whom I went on two lovely walks, Mr. Emanuel who took me on a sundowner walk and showed me baboons, antilopes and zebras, and Ms. Erika at the reception who always made me smile.
