Cabins in Paterson

Incredible people and Lodge. We were allowed to go on an elephant rescue with vets and helicopter what was a once in a lifetime experience. Everything was a 10+

We only had one night at Addo Nyala Guest Lodge, and it definitely wasn’t long enough! The house is warm, cosy and incredibly spacious, with comfortable beds that kept us warm during the cold winter night. Everything was spotlessly clean and the house had all the amenities we needed. The views are amazing, and the location is perfect for visiting Addo Elephant National Park, with the main gate just a short drive away. The owners were fantastic and communication was excellent throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay here again—next time for much longer!

This was my fourth stay and will not be my last. Camp Acacia is the place to take a deep breath, relax and be one with nature. Loved the fact that you can walk around, see animals and just relax. Edwin and Cecilia were amazing, as always. Very clean facilities and comfortable chalets.

Lovely and serene Old style furniture and a real farm feel

Spacious and well equipped room. Communal areas and pool were lovely. Staff and food were great. Respect for the environment ethos appreciated. Game tours were amazing with very knowledgeable guide.

Beautiful accommodations and facilities and helpful staff. Animals on safari were amazing

Ingrid made our stay absolutely perfect!! We were greeted by zebras and ostrich as soon as we entered the grounds - already quite the experience! Our room had amazing views and was very comfortable and clean. We had dinner on the property our first night which was one of our favorite meals of the trip! We did the Addo park, Schotia Safari and a Giraffe walk all by recommendations from Ingrid and we had the perfect trip.

The whole lodge is genuinely breathtakingly beautiful. The quality of the whole design is great. I’d forgotten what the rooms/lodges looked like and it blows you away when you open the door for the first time. They’re huge, amazing views, so comfortable, little details everywhere. Really impressive. The cleaning team do an amazing job. It’s always spotless and so tidy. All the team at Bayethe are so so lovely. Such nice people. We loved being with them for a few nights. We had Jesse as our Ranger during our time there. He was the real highlight of our stay and deserves a special call out. We’ve done safaris before but he really took care of us. I’ve never met someone with so much passion and knowledge for their job. He’s also incredibly professional and has lots of respect for where you are and keeping you safe, along with so much care for all the animals. On top of that, he is such a nice and fun person. The other Ranger, Charlene, also seemed very lovely. So I should imagine you’re always going to be in good hands at a great reserve.

It was one of the best experiences my wife and I have ever had. Property was I credible, Staff including our guide Benedict and butler Bridgette was out of this world. Incredible service and customer experience.

The staff make the place and our safari guide was exceptional. The location is superb with wild animals very close to your room ( but safely). Couldn’t recommend highly enough is a safari is on your list.

This is my 2nd time staying at Kichaka and again it was amazing. It is truly a must visit when visiting the eastern cape. From the moment you arrive you are treated so well. The lovely ladies at reception who greeted us and everyone at the lodge. The food was fabulous, they catered for me being Coeliac too. The game drives were amazing. Justin our ranger is so knowledgeable and so so lovely. We had the most fabulous animal experiences with Justin. We were sad to leave, it was like leaving your friends behind. We wish we had a longer stay but we will definitely be back and stay longer next time.

Everything was perfect. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our Ranger, Mnoni, was incredible: willing to go the extra mile, knowledgable & humorous. The room was incredible, always cleaned to perfection. The food was simple but delicious. The setup was just wonderful!
