Meanwhile woods is a beautiful lodge that is well laid out and comforting. It is well located for an easy walk to the Akakura Kanko cable car or to walk to Akakura Onsen. Me and my family couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our snow holiday to Akakura. Marcus is an exceptional host and made our stay extremely easy by offering us lifts to town/the train station and other resorts and even collecting groceries for us whilst we were out on the slopes!

My sister and I went to Myoko Kogen for a ski week. We stayed at this Pension. Papa was so generous to pick us up at the train station and return us at the end of our trip. He was also really good about helping us to the 2 neighboring ski resorts. I will say if you want to ski Seki or resorts outside of town, he unfortunately doesn't have time. The bus system wasn't working either. The breakfast was standard, good for the value and prompt. The location was walking distance to places to eat and a bus stop. The hosts were extremely kind.

Chalet Nojiri Lakeside 1F Chalet Suite Room Pet Family Friendly is a recently renovated guest house in Shinano where guests can make the most of the garden and shared lounge.

The first message I received from the property said “I would like to share accurate information about our accommodation, as some parts of the auto‑generated Booking.com description may not fully reflect the actual layout of the property.” Given that I had paid and my reservation was non-refundable, I was pretty disappointed that I had been misled.

With garden views, Echoland Madarao エコーランド斑尾 All en-suite rooms & a free 3-minute shuttle to the ski resort is located in Madarao Kogen and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden and terrace.

Good location close to Madarao ski area. But mostly loved Takashj and his family. Their home is very comfortable. They are very sweet and their food is good.

A few minutes walk to Madarao Mountain Resort, the lodge was perfectly clean and very warm thanks to the heated floors. All the staff were amazing and very helpful, parking space is available very close by for free. Breakfast buffet is basic but very good.

Located in Shinano, Lodge Oakland has a shared lounge and ski-to-door access. Featuring a garden, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a shared bathroom.
