This was our 3rd stay with Greytown campground, but first time not in a tent. The Shepherds Hut was super cozy and cute, the kids loved it. Bench beds are a tiny bit narrow, but fine. The cabin was perfectly located close to the amenities. The campground itself is perfect for walks to Main Street, the local lido, and the grocery store. We’ll definitely be back!

First time staying in chalet type accommodation in a holiday park. What a great type of accommodation! 2 bedroom, 1 with bunks and a single, the other with queen size bed. Comfy beds, nice linen. Lovely grounds. Camping sites being developed alongside cabins and cottages. Very close to Havelock North village centre.

Comfortable clean cabin with great facilities. Just a short distance from the airport, ferries, and all the superb foodie places in Petone. Some terrific walks in the nearby hills and along the beach and Heretaunga/ Hutt River I self catered successfully and adored being able to snip from small plots of herbs dotted around the park. The cleaning staff were friendly, thorough, and considerate . I appreciated the comprehensive recycling system in place, too.

Did not like this at all. This is a 5 bedroom house and you rent a very small room. Advertising as cozy cabins and Chalet was very misleading, I had my daughter and her partner with their baby and 2yr old, then some other ransoms turned up to stay at the same place. This felt very unsafe and we didn’t stay. Contacted booking.com straight away and haven’t had a response and still waiting after 5 days to let them know of the situation and wanted my money back. But no word and no refund

Repeat users. Very pleasant experience from bookin to leaving. Good communication from start to finish. Staff are pleasant , helpful & Informative. Units vary from tent sites to chalet type cabins. All seem competively priced & appropriate. It's a Motor Camp not the Ritz . No doubt they could do Ritz but then it wouldn't be affordable. Yes they have a enclosed pool & spas. Check the website.

Loved the cute room (log cabin with ensuite and basic kitchen facilities) and the outlook towards trees. This place was perfect for a stopover, and if I had reason to stay in Rotorua for a few days it would be perfect as a base. Free access to hot pools was wonderful and we all had a soak before bed. Its a shame bureaucracy shut down the onsite thermal pools, but the heat was primarily what we were after, so it was perfect.
