Really beautiful room with fabulous view of Mount Taranaki. Had seats outside the room on the patio separated from next door with a trellis and shrubs. There was a wonderful jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Breakfast was lovely too, homemade muesli, yoghurt, fruit, bread, crumpets and English muffins. Great location, very quiet and peaceful, but just a few minutes drive to the National Park and great walks. Trish was great too, very friendly and helpful. Exceptional value for money. Would definitely recommend. There were facilities for massages etc, which we didn’t try.

I liked the welcome book in the room with local attractions and included menus from nearby eateries.

All details are cared for including lovely automatic fireplace to enjoy and electric blankets. Very appreciated after a long day hiking Tongariro trail. Kitchen was well equipped. One of our favourite spots to stay in our whole trip.

There is also a seating area and a fireplace. What an outstanding place to stay a few nights. Spacious, modern, with a beautiful modern touch. The pictures sure don’t lie. Stunningly no sunsets and if you are standing on that front porch with your coffee you almost have that feeling you are in the hobbit’s Shire. Very short drive to New Plymouth and Taranaki Maunga.
