Armen and his wife are not just hosts – they made us feel like part of their family! We shared their table every morning and evening with delicious homemade food. They have a wonderful garden where they grow lots of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. The fish Armen grilled on the barbecue was incredibly tasty. Extremely kind, warm, hospitable, and fun people! The view from the veranda is beautiful, and the starting station of the cable car to the Tatev Monastery is very close by. The room is cozy; the bathroom is shared, but that didn’t cause us any problems. We also met other travelers, and the evenings were filled with interesting conversations + Google Translate :) . We will cherish amazing memories of Armen and his family, their home, and of Halidzor and beautiful Armenia!

Owners were very friendly, they provided everything we needed (we used hair dryer and washing machine). The breakfast was good and we also had a wonderful dinner with local food (shashlik or shish-kebab) followed by board games. The location is very good - very close to the road and also close to the Tatev cableway station, Devil's bridge and Tatev Zipline.

A unique and pleasant stay in the mountains of Armenia. The house was very clean. Very kind and hospitable host. I stayed for two nights and I was satisfied with everything. Our family recently stayed at Gyughak Guesthouse in Armenia, and we can’t say enough about how wonderful the experience was. The place was very, very, very nice, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Armenia who is looking for a relaxing getaway. The cottages were lovely, set in a peaceful atmosphere where you can truly enjoy nature. The breakfast was a highlight—there was a huge variety, and everything was delicious. We loved it as a family! The owner provided exceptional service, personally checking in with us to ensure everything was perfect and that we had everything we needed, which made us feel truly cared for. The warm welcome and AMAZING attitude of the staff there is just something GREAT!!! They take care of you as a family member, and they don’t have the word “No” part of their conversation. They make everything possible. Went the extra mile to making a whole new menu just because of me and my friend since we only eat “Halal” food. A HUGE shoutout to Sarbuhi who was the best in this whole facility.
