Located on Maipu´s wine route, Posada Cavieres Wine Lodge features a vineyard, an olive grove and a garden. The place is very clean, peaceful and spacious rooms. Also Hans is a great host, always willing to help and assist in any way. He offered us his wine to try as a tasting while talking.
Posada Mawida has a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Maipú. Featuring a tour desk, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Me and my friend spend 2 nights here and we absolutely loved it. It’s a super chill vibe, staff were all lovely and so helpful. The property is located amongst vineyards so it has a gorgeous view! They did an asado one night for all the guests which was very good. There is also a super cute puppy which I was obsessed with. I would highly recommend staying here :)
Located along Mendoza’s wine route, Tikaykilla Lodge & Wines is a family-run property set in a characteristic farm house surrounded by a garden. Really lovely location in the heart of the wine region. It’s a stones throw from a local wine museum. We really enjoyed our stay here and felt at home. On-site meals were excellent and WiFi was strong enough for work.
Set in an olive farm with a garden and a swimming pool, Posada Verde Oliva offers stylish rural accommodations in Coquimbito, only 9.9 mi from Mendoza city. Everything was great! Staff was super friendly, the wine was great and the food even better! The plumbing worked great and the room was thoroughly cleaned regularly. The wifi worked very well, even in the room or outside on the lawn. The way the tables are arranged facilitates meeting people. We were lucky enough to get together with 3 other couples around our age (25-45) who happened to stay there. The self-service of the fridge allowed us to get beers and/or wines as long as we marked our room number down. This was also handy for ice-cold water, even though the tap water was potable.
With pool views, Finca Fisterra is located in Maipú and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden and grill. Complimentary WiFi is offered. Victor and his family are very nice and welcoming. The finca is very nice, a bit far without a car but they are happy to help out and taxis are easy to get. The food is excellent! We were also welcome to stay longer to wait for our flight :)
Located in Maipú, 9.1 miles from Mendoza Terminal Bus Station and 9.2 miles from Pasado Cuyano Museum, Loft & Wines offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and air conditioning. We absolutely loved our stay. Laura was extremely polite and helpful. She helped us with planning trips and even made a last minute reservation at a beautiful winery. The room, pool and garden were spacious and perfectly clean.
On average, 3-star hotels in Maipú cost $0 per night, and 4-star hotels in Maipú are $0 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Maipú can be found for $0 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
What Maipú lacks in scenery, unless the Andes are out from their cloud bank, it makes up for in proximity to great wineries and restaurants that one can easily ride a bike to. It is very laid back and relaxing. The newer wine region of Valle de Uco is not far away, either. Tours there from Maipú are easily arranged.
The town of Maipu itself is unremarkable, but the Mendoza area overall is fantastic. A mix between northern California and Arizona. Given the cheap car service rates, in the future, I'll stay in Mendoza City where there are more creature comfortts--wine country was only about 30 mins from downtown.
My friend and I enjoyed the quietness of the town and the friendliness if it's occupants. The main square was attractive with a large central fountain, trees and benches. On Sunday evening there was a market surrounding the square, however I don't know whether this happens every Sunday. We took a bicycle tour of several wineries ; lots of fun and very easy because the area is flat. There is an I-Site on the main square and luckily for us there were English speakers, and again great service and suggestions. A thoroughly enjoyable visit....
Maipu is great. Its a beautiful place for some downtime and enjoying friends and family. However, we would recommend a location in city of Mendoza if you do not have your own transportation and wish to go on tours. The tour buses do not pick you up from Maipu.
The staff was very helpful on organizing wine tours / gaucho experience (very recommended) for us, and as well advising on the things to do. The hotel area is very nicely built with pool and a small wine yard. Staying in this property was one of the best experiences we had in Argentina. :)
The place is very comfortable, spacious and made us feel as home. The site provides a lot of privacy too. We had a short trip, but MARGAHOME is located in a strategic point in MAIPU. It`s ideal to go out to visit a very beautiful environment and profit the place as a weekend house.
Beautiful view. Great staff. Cutes animals. Could not ask for anything better if you want to enjoy the beauty of Mendoza! The rooms are beautiful and clean. The wine and food are great too. I recommend this place to anyone. Family, couples, or friends
Nested in a lovely orchard of fruit trees and grape vines , the location is about 20 minutes from Mendoza but right in the heart of Malbec county in Maipu. Victor was a great host and the breakfast marvellous. Its the anti urban experience.
Cute very clean little accommodation.. right in the heart of the Maipu wine area. Everything we needed was there. Safe gated area..parking for our car. Great stay.
Nice garden around the house. Central location for visiting Maipu and Mendoza. People managing the location were very friendly and very helpful.
house is very nice and a perfect setting to explore Mendoza. . Roberto is a very helpful host. we look forward to our next visit!
Martin was great. Hooked is up with a driver for our two days and arranged a few wine tours and a day at the thermal spa hotel.
