What Maipú lacks in scenery, unless the Andes are out from their cloud bank, it makes up for in proximity to great wineries and restaurants that one can easily ride a bike to. It is very laid back and relaxing. The newer wine region of Valle de Uco is not far away, either. Tours there from Maipú are easily arranged.

The town of Maipu itself is unremarkable, but the Mendoza area overall is fantastic. A mix between northern California and Arizona. Given the cheap car service rates, in the future, I'll stay in Mendoza City where there are more creature comfortts--wine country was only about 30 mins from downtown.

My friend and I enjoyed the quietness of the town and the friendliness if it's occupants. The main square was attractive with a large central fountain, trees and benches. On Sunday evening there was a market surrounding the square, however I don't know whether this happens every Sunday. We took a bicycle tour of several wineries ; lots of fun and very easy because the area is flat. There is an I-Site on the main square and luckily for us there were English speakers, and again great service and suggestions. A thoroughly enjoyable visit....

Maipu is great.
Maipu is great. Its a beautiful place for some downtime and enjoying friends and family. However, we would recommend a location in city of Mendoza if you do not have your own transportation and wish to go on tours. The tour buses do not pick you up from Maipu.
located on a small vineyard, this property has 7 different hotel rooms and includes daily breakfast, along with optional dinner (additional fee). The owner, Hans is on sight and very helpful and willing to answer questions and provide advice. There are a couple of nearby cab drivers that are also quite helpful and can take you around the area for reasonable fees. Ask for room #7 which is upstairs and has a lovely view. The house dog, Rambo, is an added bonus!
The view of the grapevines when you walk outside of your room. The quietness was very serene. The colorful birds that came to the Vineyard with bright green parrots, yellow birds, hawks just stunning. the host was very thoughtful and responded very quickly to any questions overall a very outstanding hotel. Rambo and Woody the dogs made our stay extra nice. They made sure we were well taken care of.
Great location!! I was here for a convention, and it was just a minute walk from Arena Maipu. Quiet neighborhood, everything was clean, apartment was great and when you consider views, you wouldn't think that the best view was through a window of the hallway, that you could see the Andes each morning. Lots of great restaurants and wine bodegas nearby. Ask also for Ariel the tourist guide info.
Loved staying here. It was so peaceful and the staff were so friendly. The staff helped us plan our days in Mendoza and reserved wineries on our behalf. Lovely property. I absolutely loved the terrace and drinking wine outside at night. Loved opening the windows in our room and hearing the birds chirping out the window in the morning. Very comfortable stay.
Great private location on a main Street in maipú. Close to many wineries good food options and shopping center. Great meat shop with wine and deli on the corner, fruits and veggies close by. Apartment is well kept, nice kitchen. Great owner. Gifted me a bottle of wine and an alfajore on the pillow. Jacuzzi tub, great TVs. Place was awesome
Nancy was very nice and welcoming. She explained the apartment perfectly even though we don’t speak Spanish. I liked the location because it was walking distance to the center of Maipú where we found groceries, western Union, SUBE cards, etc. We took an Uber to get to the bike rental shop - Maipu Bikes.
The place is very comfortable, spacious and made us feel as home.
The site provides a lot of privacy too.
We had a short trip, but MARGAHOME is located in a strategic point in MAIPU. It`s ideal to go out to visit a very beautiful environment and profit the place as a weekend house.
Beautiful view. Great staff. Cutes animals. Could not ask for anything better if you want to enjoy the beauty of Mendoza! The rooms are beautiful and clean. The wine and food are great too. I recommend this place to anyone. Family, couples, or friends
The pictures don’t do the apartment justice. It’s a really lovely place to stay with very comfortable rooms and beds! Hot water when we needed it and a tele to stream shows from your phone! The host also booked us a taxi back to Mendoza!
It was so nice! Exactly like the pictures and the dinner was amazing. I was so glad we stayed here instead of in the city in Mendoza. It was pretty easy to get taxis or Ubers wherever we needed to go. Super relaxing and quiet.
Beautiful surroundings, amazing views and clean rooms. Staff were friendly and we had dinner at the hotel which was really nice - I’m vegetarian and I really enjoyed the food!
Tranquil location amongst the heartland of Maipu wine district. The property has an excellent layout, with lots of spots to relax. Excellent staff and welcoming feel
