Really nice hotel with fantastic friendly people

Landhotel Steindlwirt is an original hotel in the center of Dorfgastein, excellently situated within walking distance (350m) from the ski lift and with a ski bus stop just 30m from the hotel door. All nearby restaurants are accessible within a minute's walk. Next to the hotel, there is hotel’s parking. The hotel is family-run, and the family is incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. We appreciate them providing headache medication when the pharmacy was closed and offering a late check-out upon departure. The hotel is equipped with a Finnish sauna, steam room, and infrared sauna, all included for hotel guests in the stay's price. The rooms are comfortable, adequately sized, each with a balcony, and bathroom with a shower and toilet. Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant, offering a sufficient selection of food, including ham, salami, cheeses, boiled eggs, bread, coffee, tea, juice, jams, Nutella, sweet pastries, and fruit. The food selection is decent, and the taste is good.

Hotel is located very close to ski lift (6-7 minutes by foot or just 2 minutes by local village bus which goes every 15 minutes), they provide rich breakfast with real Italian coffee, sauna and infrared cabin is included in accommodation rate which gives full relaxation after skiing. Modern and stylish design of the rooms and hotel in light colours with bright accents let to feel energised and powerful. Helpful and charming personnel ready to assist with every quest requests. Highly recommended to visit and feel Austrian hospitality.

It was a beautiful place! Runned by a lovely lady! Its next to the skilifts in the winter really good or in the summer for hiking! Slept really good everything is clean it got all you need, And in the morning a tasty breakfast! And she made coffee for me so I would say 10/10 stay. Don't waste time by looking at pictures and reviews just book it !

Beatiful spacious room with lovely views. Great bathroom and comfy bed. A family run hotel and everyone was really friendly. The food and menu were absolutely superb. We had dinner here every night. Great place to stay. We had a car, so it was easy to get around the region.

An absolute perfection of a hotel!!! Family run with so much love and pride! No idea where to begin… our room, or more to say: an apartment, was beautifully positioned overlooking the Dorfgastein valley. It was so comfortable in every way. We spent Christmas here and it was magical! The hotel organised a celebration with singing carols and champagne on Christmas Eve. Gifts too! Felt like being part of the family. We met so many people at the party, many of them come visit every year. Spa area was exquisite!!! I can talk about it until tomorrow, it was a dream! Thank you for such an amazing stay, can’t wait to be back♥️

It is just incredible place and the food is worth of 5 stars hotel . The restaurant was amazing and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Thank to Claudia for organizing the transport and all spa procedures. It was my second time and I definitely can call this place as paradise on the Earth.

The place was very classy. OMG, the spa! It was massive and so amazing! Breakfasts and dinners were full on! The salad bar is worthy of poems. The location is really good, it wasn’t too far from the ski lift.

At this accommodation, we were warmly welcomed and treated with love throughout. The entire staff was very attentive to my gluten-free diet. The staff and the owner were very kind during our stay. On my son's birthday, a decorated breakfast table and dinner table with champagne awaited us. We spent 3 weeks in Austria this summer, and this was our favourite place to stay. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this mountain hotel! The room was a true oasis of relaxation. The fireplace adds a warm, cozy atmosphere, perfect for chilly evenings, and the in-room bathtub is pure indulgence – ideal after a day spent outdoors. The services were impeccable from start to finish. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and always ready to help without being intrusive. I truly felt welcomed and well taken care of. The food was excellent – fresh ingredients, delicious dishes, and generous portions. Every meal felt like a culinary experience of its own. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and top-notch hospitality in a breathtaking mountain setting. I will definitely return!

Beautiful hotel with a great wellness area. Very good breakfast & dinner. Perfect place for ski holidays. A lot of entertainment activities in the evening. Every morning hotel visitors received a brochure with most important information about the weather and other daily activities

We have been coming to this place for many years and we have grown to love this hotel. It meets everything we need on holiday and at a high level. The owners are very friendly and even after so many years we have nothing to complain about. We always enjoy our stay very much, thank you very much, we will be very happy to come back again.

The Hotel was a great location to explore the city. The room was cozy, clean, and the balcony was nice to relax with a cup of coffee while looking at the mountains.

The hotel was fantastic and really added to our overall experience in Bad Hofgastein. The breakfast was very good, with a wide choice of fresh food to suit everyone. Dinner in the evenings was top class, and service was very friendly and courteous. The direct access to the Alpentherm Spa is a wonderful bonus when staying at this hotel. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel thoroughly, and look forward to returning to this area and hotel.
