This property is in a great location for exploring the island. You can see rock wallabies in the rocks at the end of the beach and koalas on the Forts walk just up the road. The rooms are great, really clean and comfortable. The Bikini bar next door does great food, the smashed avo toast is a breakfast fave.

I only stayed for 1 night but wish I could have stayed longer! The room was clean, very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. I didn't get a chance to use many of the facilities but I was shown around when I checked in and they looked excellent. There are activities on every night if you'd like to do something with the other guests.

Arcadia is a great place to visit and to stay on Magnetic...

Arcadia is a great place to visit and to stay on Magnetic Island. The main beach, which is part of the Nature reserve, is lovely to walk around and also to see Rock Wallabies in the early evening. Alma Bay is particularly good for young children, with plenty of shade and grassy areas in addition to a small It's only a short walk in the the main centre at Nelly Beach, the Ferry Terminal and a well stocked supermarket and bottle shop.

By taking our car over on the barge we could travel around...

By taking our car over on the barge we could travel around the island to the different beaches. It has some lovely places to see, some can only be accessed by car. The bus service appeared popular with people to get around the main three bays on the island. Great relaxing holiday destination.

The motel is well situated next to the pub for meals.

The motel is well situated next to the pub for meals. You can walk to the beach. Great local busses. Plenty excursions if you want them. Motel not five star but clean and not to expensive and you are on Magnetic island it’s like going back in time. Paradise.

We so loved Magnetic Island and happily found the tiny...

We so loved Magnetic Island and happily found the tiny Arcadia settlement just perfect in terms of access to a perfect cove beach, bus, hiking trails, and even the RSL Club where we had a surprisingly good Sunday meal.

Magnetic Island is still an affordable place for a getaway.

Magnetic Island is still an affordable place for a getaway. Just need to be mindful of the stinger season and where you choose to swim. Horseshoe Bay and Picnic bay offer stinger nets. Alma Bay has great facilities and close to Arcadia pub.

The location of the house was excellent. It was very close to the bus stop at the Bowls Club and close to the stop at Alma Beach. Alma Beach was our preferred beach, especially with our 2 1/2 year old grand-daughter. Gently shelving sandy bottom, protected from all but direct on-shore winds, excellent life saver cover. A short walk to the Arcadia Bakery for bread and delicious pastry and coffee

The apartment had everything you needed to stay for a few days or more. They even drove me to the apartment from the best of magnetic for no further charge. Property had a comfy bed and a nice lounge that reclined. Bedroom had a desk and two mirrors. I was content staying at the property. Walking distance to the beach and hotel. All in all very nice place to stay.

Arcadia is the best location on the island - across the road from a beautiful swimming beach. The room was very spacious and the management very friendly and helpful. Great shower and comfortable bed. It was nice to have a microwave/plates and cutlery. Great food at the hotel next door.

Ambience was amazing amongst the trees and plants, I enjoyed sitting on balcony in the evening. Location was perfect tucked into sleep Arcadia but close to bakery, bus, trails and pub and of course the beach. Free laundry on site was handy for travellers
