Peppers Craigieburn offers a selection of rooms featuring views of the resort’s private 9-hole golf course and landscaped gardens. Facilities include a fine dining restaurant and a billiards room. On our return home I have reflected on our stay. I have released I was long over due for a holiday. I felt instantly at ease, enjoying strolls in the garden, amazing meals at the restaurant and unwinding by the fire in the evening meeting new people. I’m am grateful for our break away.
Featuring a restaurant, bar, shared lounge and free WiFi, The Bowral Hotel is located in Bowral, 16 miles from Robertson Heritage Railway Station and a 7-minute walk from Corbett Gardens. The rooms were updated and extremely clean. The service and staff were great
Offering a garden, The Sebel Bowral Heritage Park is set in Bowral. The International Cricket Hall of Fame is 2953 feet from the property. Free private parking is available on site. The facilities and room amenities were excellent. It is what was advertised. The hotel manager was very helpful.
I had not appreciated what a wonderful place Bowral is. Beautiful scenery, great places to eat and drink and fabulous shopping (especially loved getting lost in Dirty Janes). We came for a weekend away with family, and 2 days was far too short. Would happily come back for much longer. I can understand why so many Sydneysiders escape here so often.
It was the middle of a very cold wet Winter with few breaks in the rain but Bowral was very interesting with some quirky shops and excellent coffee. The general area has a lot to offer. We enjoyed scenic drives in the countryside and visits to other towns. I saw a lyrebird for the first time which was a thrill.
We enjoyed browsing in the antique shops and bazars. Their are lots of places to eat or grab a coffee/drink. Walking around Bowral is easy, a few hills but ok. Even though it was a long week end we still managed to find car parks and tables in restaurants. We would probably avoid a long week end again, just so we can have a bit more of a relaxed weekend with out the crowds. Easy commute to Berrima and Mittagong. The ladies at the information centre in Mittagong were very helpful.
Busy cafes bars and wineries on weekends, bookings for meals is a good idea as it is popular as a day trip for Sydneysiders. Walk the main street (Bong Bong St) to soak up the country vibe and check out the eateries.
We went primarily for the Bradman museum which was fabulous also the surrounding national parks were very good. Strangely we did not find a lot of good restaurants in Bowral although heaps of clothes shops. We visited every single one
Although Bowral is 100km or so from Sydney, it is visited by hordes and can be quite annoying as it is 'country'. It appears to be a vibrant place to visit for a day or stay for a few. Parking in the main street can be scarce but side streets are usually OK, a short walk never hurt anyone. There is plenty to see and do in the region, accommodation generally is good, but I suggest if you wish to stay overnight, book well in advance. Mittagong, Berima and Moss Vale are all worth a visit. Do a bit of research before you travel so you don't miss out on the gems.
What a gem - I wasnt sure what to expect so it was a treat when we drove into Devon Cottage. What a beautiful property and we felt very snug and private. Everything is so well thought out and catered for, we had a lovely time and especially loved taking a walk in the beautiful gardens. 10 out of 10
A good range of breakfast cereals, croissants, bread, fruit, milk, bottled water, spreads as well as coffee and tea were provided. NetFlix is available. There is ample parking and the property is only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Bowral. The hosts, Cos and Robyn, are very friendly and helpful.
Good location, rooms a bit small if staying for extended period of time. However neat and tidy with new bathrooms. Close to shops - Woolworths, breakfast cafe's, the Bowral hotel and restaurants in the main street.
Neat and tidy room with small kitchenette for light meals. Lovely view to Mt Gibralter and easy walking distance into Bowral. Lovely park nearby for kids. Electric blankets are a big plus in
Well maintained quiet and comfortable motel in a convenient location just over a kilometer walk from Bowral. Beds were comfy and plenty of bed covers
It is an 'entry level' hotel obviously modernised from a simple local motel of earlier years. It is comfortable for its level.
This was such a secret gem! Great staff, gorgeous hotel, small but lovely room and really well priced. Beautiful hotel!
Stayed here many times as it meets our needs. Good quality, on-site parking & hotel/bar/bistro attached
Boutique hotel experience with friendly staff.’intimate old world charm and interaction with other guests.
we’ll located to the centre of Bowral, well presented gardens, good standard rooms and facilities
Walking distance to pub grub and scenic location.
The location was close to Bowral township.
Didn’t eat at the hotel
The room was what my wife and I expected, very spacious for our needs - with a lovely garden view of the yard and fountain; All meals and the efforts gone to were outstanding. Very thankful that we upgraded from a three course to a five course degustation dinner, which was just amazing! All of the staff went above and beyond ensuring our stay was both enjoyable and memorable, in assisting with any queries we had; and The grounds were just beautifully kept. Weather permitting, we enjoyed every part of the grounds' gradual change - within each area we entered. Amazing!
The house was clean, spacious, comfortable and homey. We booked for a family wedding for 10 adults and all of us had plenty of room. Facilities were great and beds were comfortable. Located on the quite side of town, the shops are less than a 10 min drive and has some great cafes and pubs.
Great Cottage with loads of charm and wonderful gardens in a great location . You will want for nothing in the cottage . Everything has been thought of down to the last detail. A very Short drive into town. Wonderful host.
