We loved the location within the walls of pentrige. The compound had everything we needed. Cafes and restaurants, IGA, cinema and shops. We also did a pentrige tour.
Aby the concierge at the time of check in, was absolutely amazing - he upgraded our room, gave us complimentary parking and a bottle of wine as we were celebrating our anniversary. A really lovely weekend and the service was 5 stars.
The grounds were beautifully maintained and our room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. Full sized fridge, kitchenette and laundry was an added bonus

We stayed at Bundoora because it was close to Funfields where we visited.. we didn't really explore much of the area but we liked what we saw of surrounding shops, restaurants, parks & close to Melb Zoo...without being right in the city ..would definitely like to return and explore the area a bit more.
Very nice quiet area we stayed in..
