This is a beautifully executed country cottage with great views and a quiet peaceful location. It was warm due to great air conditioning and insulation even though it was cold outside. Everything was brand new and in perfect condition. The host was very helpful and told us everything we needed to know. Having sheep and lambs wandering around outside is a great distraction as well.

Stunning unique property for a family group. Very lovely hosts Karen and Phil . Very cute cottage with very comfortable beds and sumptuous sofas . The resident peacock was adorable. Great other space for the kids to stay nearby . Lots to see in the area close to Beechworth and Rutherglen All Saints Winery among the mix. Hope to visit again 1 day.

Chiltern is an excellent place to visit and use as a base to...

Chiltern is an excellent place to visit and use as a base to then check out the great wineries in the area. Be aware that Chiltern is a small town and there isn't an abundance of facilities. Some of those that are there, close early. The local IGA is open to 6:30PM. The bakery shuts at 2PM (I believe). The local caravan park is really nice and the Lydoun motel is a great place as well.

We always enjoy Chiltern for short overnight stay, the town...

We always enjoy Chiltern for short overnight stay, the town has great Bakery, lovely lake & historic buildings, also found the town people friendly, the only drawback is the train goes through several times during the night near the motel & blows the whistle.
