Located along the banks of the Mighty Murray River, Rivergum Holiday Retreat offers an outdoor pool, 2 boat ramps and free parking on site. Love this place. Kim and Steve are wonderful hosts. The park is clean and has a friendly atmosphere. Have been coming here for the few years, and would recommend it anyone.
Located in a great location in the heart of Corowa, The Statesman Inn offers air-conditioned accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Guests have access to a saltwater swimming pool. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Rooms were spotless and the property was very well maintained.
Located in Corowa, Corowa Golf Club Motel has a restaurant, bar, tennis court, and free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring an ATM, this property also provides guests with a grill. Great location if you plan to play golf, good to have breakfast included but yoghurt would have been nice
Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Greenacres Motel features a heated spa pool, barbecue facilities and an outdoor swimming pool. Free Wi-Fi and electric blankets are included. Great location for our needs, a short drive to clubs, pubs, restaurants, places to fish.
Great flat walking, area developed for tourism particularly in relation to wineries, distilleries and eateries. Murray River has walking and cycling paths. Only 8km from Rutherglen. I did walk training on the railtrail between Rutherglen and Wahgunyah (on the other side of the river). Food and coffee at Corowa Chocolate and Whisky Distillery. Meal at Lake Moodemere Winery. Coffee at Docs in Corowa. Tourist information centres at both Corowa and Rutherglen including very reasonably priced bike hire.
Unfortunately did not spend a lot of time in Corowa as rowing was at Rutherglen but we must say the after race fish and chips from Corowa were delicious enjoyed on the banks of the river, a beautiful setting.
my husband and l were goeing for 1 night but stayed a extra night loved the motel very friendly we went to the RsL for tea it was excellent had music and we played the pokies and got picked up at the motel bye Taxi only paid 4dollars we really enjoyed it and we will be back.
We travelled to Corowa to meet with family. They were supposed to stay in Rutherglen, but due to the Covid restrictions at the time, they also stayed in a motel in Corowa. We dined at the Corowa RSL, as we like to support the RSL's and their work with the veteran community. We found the town to be easy to navigate, had ample shopping places.
If you like wineries its ok, but not really a place i would say was a great holiday destination. Shops close early, and not really a great deal of sightseeing. If you like a quiet small town atmosphere, its the place for you. The best part of it for me was all the Federation places that played a large part in our country's Federation. Corowa has plenty of well marked landmarks, and it creates a great atmosphere. I think they should work a little harder on this as it really was a major time in our history and i think they can capitalise on this much much more as a tourist attraction, but they need to work on it as it really doesn't have an actual central location with more interesting displays etc, or if it does, I couldn't find it!
Did not allow time to visit more vineyards, plenty of pubs with bistros, no Resch beer sadly, but Great Northern on tap, easy drive to Rutherglen vineyards for great wines, Muscat & Port. Also easy drive to Beechworth which is worth a visit.
We didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised with the well appointed room on the river and golf course. Our meal at the restaurant was very nice and there was a great choice of food and prices. The bonus was the free continental breakfast before we left in the morning. There was also a cinema there on sight if we had wanted to watch a movie!
The room was large and comfortable. Facilities all excellent - a supply of fresh milk was always available, which was a nice extra. The grounds of the motel are lovely. I visited Corowa with a group of cycling friends, and we enjoyed sitting and chatting in the barbecue area next to the pool. Thanks, Geoff, for a lovely stay.
Scott and Olivia are the nicest people you’ll meet in Corowa. Upgraded on arrival, very accommodating, even invited us to join them for a delicious home cooked meal by the pool on our last night. Clean and comfortable accommodation and hosts that you leave calling your friends. Will return.
Continental breakfast was very good and met our expectations. Location was very quiet and only a few steps to the Mighty Murray River. Room was very large with all the facilities needed for a great weekend stay. Had our meals at the Corowa RSL which is located only a short drive from motel.
Great sized rooms. Clean and comfortable. Excellent outside area near pool to chat and relax. Hosts, Garry and Cathy were fantastic to deal with. Only stayed the one night but will definitely book again if traveling to Corowa.
Lovely helpful welcome from Haydn, especially for our two older dogs. Comfortable accommodation for us all in a quiet location in lovely Corowa.
Love this place. Kim and Steve are wonderful hosts. The park is clean and has a friendly atmosphere. Have been coming here for the few years, and would recommend it anyone.
