The hotel staff were all warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The ambiance and decor of the whole hotel was gorgeous and our room was beautiful with Juliet balcony with a water view. The bed and bedding was luxurious as were the towels, robes and toiletries. The extra touches of Nespresso coffee maker, complimentary water and soft drinks and little packets of chips were appreciated. The breakfast was delicious too!

Stayed as a solo female. Great hospitality by the owners. I was made to feel very comfortable and welcome. Rooms a clean with some basic amenities not usual in some hotels like this. Good fridge, microwave and crockery. Pool was a bonus and nice to take a dip in. Free continental breakfast was great and the coffee machine made a decent coffee

Location was perfect for our needs and the view was simply breathtaking!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bathroom shower was nice and big and even had a small washing machine that allowed us to wash something that we needed to wash urgently so that was a nice bonas.

Eden is a beautiful spot to enjoy a family holiday.

Eden is a beautiful spot to enjoy a family holiday. So many little towns surrounding to explore. We explored the Whale museum, Boyd's Tower, Davidson Whaling Station, Aslings, Pambula Beach, Corcora Beach, Tathra beach, Merimbula Main beach. Went to Green Cape lighthouse (albeit a really rough 20 + KMs of corrugated road in a 3.5 ton bus!!). We explored the lookouts and walks, the Wharf there's lots to do for all ages and fitness. Mountain Bike Trails, Boat Cruising, Fishing depends on your taste and budget.

The Seahorse Inn has an interesting history.

The Seahorse Inn has an interesting history. We had a very comfortable stay in one of the cabins/villas which was a very short distance to the beach and the main building. The restaurant was fabulous we really enjoyed our meal. They have a number of different options on the property for people to enjoy this beautiful part of the world. They have accommodation in the main building and cabins/villas, there is also a camping ground further down the end of the property for caravans. We hope to return again and spend more time here.

Eden is more of a quaint fishing village, if your after razzle dazzle this is not the place. However it is lovely to step back a bit to a town that is not too overdone and is very authentic. Loved the sea feel to this town and the people were very friendly and the Whale Musuem was extremely interesting. Only a short distance to other towns (Pambula, Merrimbula) where you can get all the razzle dazzle you need.

The chinese restaurant for dinner was excellent. The pizza place was even better. There supreme pizza was well worth the wait. They were certainly busy and it pays to book ahead. The early opening coffee shop for coffee and hot chocolate was great as well

Very pretty and close to great beaches.

Very pretty and close to great beaches. Close to Merimbula as well. I think the challenge was getting something good to eat after hours - most places closed, but I'd recommend the Great Southern Pub as a great location for a nice meal. There's a fantastic maritime antique's store in town which has a lot of interesting things in it for anyone into naval and maritime matters.

I have often travelled to the NSW South Coast and lived in...

I have often travelled to the NSW South Coast and lived in the region for 15 years. During this stay, I shopped at the local IGA, bakery and butchery and found the friendliness of the staff first rate. It reminded me what Merimbula use to be like. I also drove around the countryside and found the forest drives very appealing.

After reviewing feedback on motels in Eden we found this little gem. Nice comfortable room with all the facilities needed for an overnight stop, kitchenette with toaster, kettle, fridge, microwave and cutler. The hotel has easy access from the road with parking right at your door. Staff also super friendly. Given its location we were a little concerned about any road noise however we did not have any noise at all during our stay. Highly recommend. Excellent value for money.

A little bit south of the main Eden township. Very quiet spot close to the water. Can just hear the waves! A self contained villa so meal service not provided though you can walk over to the main hotel for lunch or dinner. The villa is very well equipped and has separate shower, toilet and basin so great for a family.
