Amasing unit, has everything you need including some condiments. Restaurant next door charges to ypur room.. was an amasing meal and dessert!! Great staff, didn't have time to use the pool but secure and lovely.. heaps of parking and opp shopping centre.

It's a pleaseant town and the people are very friendly.

It's a pleaseant town and the people are very friendly. The botanic gardens are interesting. The downside is that it really is so far from anywhere and takes hours to get there from the coast so you need a good reason to want to go.

Lots of free things to do including visiting the botanic gardens and big easel, also a great place to stay if you want to visit Sapphire and Rubyvale. There's a large variety of food options and accomodation

There is a lot to see in & around Emerald even if you have...

There is a lot to see in & around Emerald even if you have to travel a bit. Go for a drive out to Lake Marraboon as it's very peaceful. The Star Hotel & Marraboon Tavern do beautiful meals & you get a lot for your money. It has a couple of shopping centers with everything you need plus some great cafes BUT you need to go to them before 2pm. It's very easy to find your way around town. Go for a drive out to Clermont as it has a lot of history & it's a lovely little country town. your also close to Rubyvale, Sapphire & the Gemfields.

Loved the wide streets & centre parking.

Loved the wide streets & centre parking. Terrific tavern - the Mayfair, near the airport on Springsure road! Helpful staff @ tourist info centre. Visited Fairbairn Dam - interesting! Great brunch @ "Blah-Blah" cafe.

Lovely oasis in the Central Highlands that has everything...

Lovely oasis in the Central Highlands that has everything you need and the Botanical Gardens are a must-see. Also take a peak at the painting of the giant sunflower in Emerald.Lake Maraboon is nearby and we’ll worth a visit as are the gem field towns like Ruby and Sapphire. An hour’s drive away is the lovely town of Clermont where there is a wonderful museum that documents the history of the region. Great place to visit.

The traffic in Emerald is soooo much better than the capital...

The traffic in Emerald is soooo much better than the capital cities particularly Sydney. The only problem was the opening hours if the Suncorp Bank - 9.30am to 2pm Monday to Friday. I would love to work those hours. lol. Then they were not that helpful when I managed to catch them open. Hint- it’s a country town, don’t expect the world because they won’t have it. Prices are also elevated because they think everyone works in the surrounding mines. Lots of international people working there which can sometimes be difficult to make yourself understood. Not a bad place though.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. Everything was very clean, both the room and the entire property. The rooms felt fresh and new, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location was also excellent, making it easy to get around. I especially liked the pool, it was very nice and relaxing. I would definitely recommend staying here👍🏻

Large rooms with plenty of seating, storage and surfaces for getting ready, plenty of kitchen amenities, and a good shower. If you’re new to Emerald, it’s a quiet and easy to access location, a few mins drive to everything you need but not on the train line or busy streets.
