United KingdomNever stayed anywhere this nice in my life. We had just come off of a long bus journey late night and we were more than impressed by the room when we walked in, so clean! The staff were absolutely outstanding, let us order a meal even though their kitchen was about to close (10/10 meal aswell!) and the whole experience was just lovely. You should all be proud of yourselves!

The size of the meals & presentation was amazing.
I would go there for meals even not an in house guest.
The live music & pizza on Friday & Sunday night are a real bonus.

Everything in Mackay feels incredibly close by.
Everything in Mackay feels incredibly close by. Not too many things would be more than a 10 minute drive away.
And beyond that, a seemingly endless expanse of mountains and cane fields in every direction.
Huge tides at the local beaches, millions of soldier crabs - and the 'worlds smallest' roundabout is in town.
The traffic lights near the airport are tiny, there are cane trains and tracks all over the place.
Truly a beautiful region.

Mackay is a lovely and clean place to visit, people are friendly and helpful. There are thing's to do. We come to Mackay once a year. We went to Mt Pleasant Tavern and food was good, staff was very friendly.

The Bluewater swimming park great for the kids
I definitely recommend Eungella National Park at Broken River for a day trip and go to the Enugella Pub what a veiw
We went over Christmas time so a lot of attraction closed but still had other things to go look see

Mackay is a beautiful coastal spot, I'm planning another trip there soon. We visited the Marina, and did some shopping at Canelands. We attended an Engagement party with family there and the venue was beautifully set up, staff were so friendly and the weather was beautiful for a swim and fish and chips.

I attended a cricket game at Harrup Park, which I had never been to before. Google maps made it easy to find and the facilities are amazing. One afternoon, I walked the Mackay Bluewater Trail. It was interesting and I felt safe on the trail.

Everything about this Motel was exceptional, The manager that welcomed me was so kind and helpful, the room was immaculate and really nice and big, also unlike most hotels the toilet wasnt crammed into a wall and felt more like what you would have in a normal house, not to mention the soap and hair products provided are now on my shopping list. onsite laundry was really handy after being on a road trip. Would 100% stay again and reccomend to anyone travelling to Mackay!! Thankyou Again for a great night stay.

After traveling from Perth to Mackay with a 2hr stop over in Brisbane I was ready for a hot shower and a good sleep. How good is the location, walked out of the terminal and there it was!! Brilliant, and the rooms face away from the airport with double glazed windows so definitely no noise issues and had the best blockout blinds I've seen, so no light issues waking me early.

Everything is close. Coles, Canelands, Restaurants & Sporting clubs are pretty close too. You can walk to most places but if you decide to drive, it's only a 2 min drive to the CBD, 5 min drive to Harbour, etc. The room was clean, comfortable, affordable & the receptionists was super friendly. I would definitely stay again 👍😊

Very clean & tidy, stayed in the 1 brm on top floor. I love the 2 TV'S as there is 1 in the bedroom. staff were friendly, great location. Great to see a motel that puts money back in & keeps it maintained, maybe some other motels in mackay should do the same. Keep up the great work Ridges Mackay 👍
