Offering beautiful views of the Clarence River from the on-site beer garden, this heritage listed building is located in the center of Maclean. I always love the old buildings, the architecture the cornices the timber work. this one did not disappoint. Yes sometimes there can be dinky little walls in random places, but the bathroom upgrade was nice, our room was comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally helpful 😁
Small Town that has everything you need with a very Scottish theme it has Scottish souvenir shop and clan names and tartan on every pole in town. The bowls club in the middle of town has good food it is a freindly place well worth a visit or short stay I will be back I spent 3 days exploring the coast from there and still have much more I want to see my favorite part was Broom Heads spectacular views from the lookout
A very quaint town and once a year in April it holds the Scottish Highland Gathering. The Bowling club is amazing holding shows and of course the Chinese restaurant is great. Only 16 k to the beach at Yamba.
The owners were very friendly. The room was clean. Kitchen area was sufficient for my needs. The location was close to the town. The lack of power point on the bedside table side of the room was my only negative issue. I would stay there again.
Nice little country town that was a comfortable drive from Sydney, as a stopover for driving to QLD. Nice selection of cafe's on the main street, and the Sanctus Brewing company a few minutes drive away had excellent meals and craft beers and spirits.
This town has loads of character. And if you run out of things to do Yamba is only a 20klm drive down the road. Well worth a visit for some rest and relaxation. Lots of options for meals from pubs, clubs and boutique coffee shops.
Maclean is a quiet river town located right on the Clarence river. There is a good little shopping centre for convenience purchases. There are several boat ramps available. The town is handy to both Yamba and the beaches as well as the serene beauty of the river
Friendly and chatty owners who were very accomodating. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Only a short walk to town and Botero cafe was a must for coffee and breakfast. The sunset and sunrise from motel was lovely and there is a viewing deck you can sit at and enjoy a wine. My first time in Maclean and it was lovely. Jules
Fantastic spot to stay that is quiet and tranquil. Facilities were suitable. I would have loved to stay longer and relax. Within close proximity to the quite town of Maclean it is a nice tranquil spot made for relaxation.
Great location. I wish the manager put proper investment for the hotel. It has so much potential but lack of care.
As the builder and owner of the Water View Motel in 1974 I found the Club Motel very good
Lovely hotel Clean and spacious
