My wife, two friends, and I had the absolute pleasure of being the very first guests at this stunning converted church in St Andrews, and what an experience it was! From the moment we stepped inside, we were in awe. The old church has been lovingly and impeccably renovated. It now blends the charm of its original architecture with all the comforts of a modern retreat. The space is simply breathtaking. The high ceilings and open layout give it a wonderful, airy feel, and the natural light just pours in. We loved the thoughtful design touches, and each of the two bedrooms—one on the mezzanine level and one tucked away at the back—was cozy and comfortable. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. Mario, the host, was outstanding. His communication was amazing—quick, kind, and helpful from start to finish. You can tell he genuinely cares about creating a great experience for his guests. A perfect host in every sense! As the first guests, we felt like we discovered a hidden gem. If you’re looking for a unique stay with a lot of character and a bit of history, you can’t go wrong here. We’ll definitely be back!

The vacation home, set in a building dating from 1960, features free private parking.

We got brekkie from the bakery was delicious and they're open around 8am I think. Even on a Sunday! The stars of the evening on a clear night are absolutely phenomenal! I sat out the back for around half an hour and enjoyed the milky way, shooting stars & satellites.

Was a nice motel, 24 hour check in, room was clean, as had a mini bar and breakfast (cereal) provided which was a nice little bonus. It is shelf check-in so no front reception staff while I was there, but did get regular check in txts and recommendations for places to eat and the like.
