We did the last moment reservation, and they had no problem organizing a room for us very quickly. All the amenities were perfect. Their fantastic bathtub surved well after a very tiring day of traveling. Everything was clean and nice. The staff was very friendly. Soft beds, lovely kitchen, would definitely stay there again.

We loved this property. Beautiful quiet location riverside. Loft apartment which was well equipped, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The hosts were helpful ,welcoming and friendly. We were catching the ferry to the mainland and only booked one night but would have loved a longer stay.

Beautiful and very spacious appartment. It felt like pure luxury and the view was magnificent. It had big and comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Absolute bliss to have stayed here.

I could use every superlative. Clean, well-equipped, comfortable, homely yet luxurious, amazing location right by the beach with sea views, pretty garden, easy parking, additional amenities including firepit and barbecue. Ideally suited to a couple for a romantic getaway; we were a group of three adults and it suited us well. Would have really loved a longer stay to really absorb the experience to the full.

We stayed 1 night at Ulverstone to be able to see penguins at Lillico beach which is 15 min drive from the apartment. We are extremely happy that we have chosen Ulverstone River Edge HolidayApartments. The building is right on the river, and you can go for a wonderful long walk along the river and then along the ocean. It is also a few minutes walk to the lovely center of Ulverstone with nice cafes and shops. The apartment is fully equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.

The park was across the road from the beach and although we didn’t swim there we enjoyed beach combing. We also loved being close to the skateboard park and BMX track. My kiddos also loved the jumping pillow.

Wayne is such a sweet host! He is very accommodating, gives great exploring tips and cooks delicious meals. His house is also super comfortable and clean. Loved the area in general, which remains relatively close to the little penguins observation areas.

Ulverstone is in the perfect spot for reasonably priced, good accommodation that covers the most sought after places for tourists to enjoy. Easy access to the wonderful artists town at Sheffield, the Wings Wilderness Park, the penguins at Lillico Beach and only a little over an hour to Cradle Mountain. The Leven River Cruise from the wharf is a must for wilderness lovers and bird watchers.

Ulverstone is lovely the road along the River is worth...

Ulverstone is lovely the road along the River is worth travelling, the bakery worth eating there all very friendly even when my husband lost a tooth. The next day it rained and the wind blew coldly. We found a lovely small eating place and the food was totally delicious and different. The shopping fun and on the whole, we had a lovely time.

This property was just perfect.

This property was just perfect. Great sized bathroom with a relaxing bath, good bed, all the little home like touches were very welcomed and enjoyed. The river was beautiful to look at and changed daily. The gardens were gorgeous. We will definitely come back another time.

Pedro's Seafood restaurant is a must visit, crayfish excellent. Very friendly shop owners/staff. Oliver's Bakery, full of delicious treats. Their black forest cake at $25 a great buy, (would be $70 in Melbourne) delicious fruit buns. Comm Bank staff, council staff, Levin newsagent, excellent to do business with. No parking meters.

At the Hive we found Gladys and Kirsten who were extremely generous with their help, and we realized we should have planned to spend more time in their area and less in the city (where we did get lost a lot!!). The woodwork and the craft studios were opened and we enjoyed the experience. The landscape in this area is magnificent, and we found two beaches where Kimba was allowed to run free and where I could collect shells and stones. Sheffield and Railton were high on our return trip to catch the Spirit of Tasmania. The Northwest coast of Tasmania is GREAT.

We had a unit that had a ramp as I am depended on a walker...

We had a unit that had a ramp as I am depended on a walker and wheelchair to get around. The only thing that I found wrong was the shower, it had a big step up into and out of the shower, something I found very hard to do. Had to get the disabled shower unit key so as to shower. Other than that, the unit was great.

Breakfast provisions were quite adequate and the view from my apartment was lovely and peaceful. As an ex-local who lived in the area some 20+ years ago I found the modern accommodation to be very pleasant and peaceful and convenient to supermarkets and restaurants and the lovely local Ulverstone beach.

Gorgeous self-contained bungalow close to Penguin and Ulverstone. Stunning bathroom and well appointed bedrooms, living area and kitchen facilities. We especially enjoyed the beautiful landscaped gardens with fire pit, multiple seating area and short walk to Goat Island Reserve.
