I enjoy the history of the area - the old Church, the old buildings. Coles/Woollies/Target were open on the public holidays for supplies. I particularly like the old piano in the Mall. People are friendly - even the drivers are friendly! (Makes a pleasant change from rude city drivers).
Windsor is an eclectic and charming place full of character. We wished we had discovered the town centre much earlier. As we had booked breakfast at our hotel we didn't need to stop off and eat but they had a few lovely cafe's set up; we discovered a Thai massage place for excellent value - much better than forking starting price of $185 for a massage at our hotel. Very clean, professional and excellent value for money. The adorable and quaint places we did manage to visit were full of wonderful surprises - seriously if you are in the area go check out Windsor town centre, it is definitely worth the leisurely stroll to take in the full character of the place. Such friendly and welcoming people also.
After a grueling cold stay in the Blue Mountains, we decided to pull up for night at the Resort and try and thaw out... From arrival, everything seemed to be so easy.. easy access to car park, which was close to reception, easy access to our very comfortable rooms, we also had our own little garden setting in the sun which didn't last long after we found the full size snooker table in the bar. We sunk a few balls, and a few beers whilst the girls, keen to try out the pool and spa, ducked into town to pick up some new swimmers. I must say that the staff looked after all of us to the max, from the guys on the front desk all the way to the dinning room and breakfast. We decided to eat in that night. As the guys prefered the informal setting, we ended up at restaurant in Barracks Bar, nice food and drinks.... overall a great experience and a good chance to unwind on our way home...
Lovely little market on the Sunday we were there - the cactus man was astonishing in both his knowledge and prices (very reasonable), and the pumpkin man had some amazing varieties: check them out. It's only one block away. We ate out at the fish shop - good food but very pricey and lousy attitude from the woman serving at the counter. Hope the Windsor bridge campers win (although our original plan was to celebrate the 1000 days with them... before they changed the date two days before our arrival. It did sour the relationship.)

Great staff, spacious rooms. Very clean and new bathroom. Excellent wifi. Everything was fantastic. It was a short drive to Western Sydney university which is why I stayed there. Short drive to Windsor shops.
Location in Windsor was great. Walking distance to coffee shops, shopping centre. Good parking out the back. Collection of keys was easy. The living area and kitchen was also a good size for a short stay.
