What a great find! I was staying alone with my three young children which is anxiety inducing enough but they couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. Beautiful garden and playground (with a games box!) for them to safely run around in. We all slept wonderfully. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Beautiful place in countryside. Very good design, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Lovely breakfast area. We had to leave before breakfast, so we have received great takeaway breakfast packages. The instructions for entering the property in the night were very easy to follow.

Excellent location in the centre of the town with easy free parking; there was a convenient EV charging point very close for overnight charging (22KW). The property is very characterful with many original features dating back as far as 1666. The bedroom was spacious with excellent bathroom facilities. Shower was excellent. The breakfast was very good too with plenty of choice, all served in a delightful characterful breakfast/dining room. In the summer months the host said that breakfast can be taken outside in the garden or terrace. The host was very friendly and helpful There is a good selection of restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

We liked everything of this place: the welcoming staff, the place, so cozy and warm, the excellent position, breakfast and the quality of its products. The area is calm, with so much nature to explore. There are hikes to do with many paths. There are sights to visit such as the 'reading between the lines' church, a wall still standing in parts of the city from ancient Roman times, several local pubs, and pastry shops that make your mouth water.

What a beautiful place, nicely renovated into a luxury hotel, but without the extortionate price tag! Lots of history and quirky rooms to enjoy. Good games room and lounge area's. Lovely garden, quiet location. Welcome drink on arrival, was a nice touch! Food in restaurant was excellent.
