Situated in small village, quiet, located centrally to visit Bruxelles, Anvers, Brugges, sea,, Gand, and south Netherlands. Great qualitative renovation job of an old station in a modern, industrial, technical and eco-friendly way. Owners friendly. Practical, cosy and big shared kitchen and living room (in addition to kitchen corner in room). Delicious smells in the whole building. sink, fridge, dishes, microwave in the room. Big bathroom, big shower, soap, shampoo, ... Individual confortable beds (can work for double or twin), we had a 3-bed room (there's only one like this) Dishes and drinks available from vending machine. Breakfast upon request (not tested) You can walk to the village center (butcher, bakery, hairdresser...)

The place is really clean and cosy. Very friendly atmosphere and a big jacuzzi in the yard just perfect to end the day with a relaxing bath. The breakfast was delicious and rich. Everything was just perfect.

our recent weekend stay at anno 1673 was a most delightful treat in the countryside of ertvelde... isabel & mario have built a beautiful B&B that is modern in its facilities and function with a tasteful nod to architectural design and history...the surrounding open farmland and the peacefulness makes for a very relaxing atmosphere to sit & enjoy an evening glass of wine or morning koffie... our room had everything we needed, very comfortable & spacious, and the few requests we made, were given promptly & much to our satisfaction... including dinner recommendations for il posto giusto ... so good, we ate there twice! and then, there was breakfast... fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh breads with meats, cheeses and fresh strawberries with fresh-whipped cream on top embellished with shavings of white chocolate...sinful & delicious which made for a perfect start to a great day... we enjoyed getting to know mario & isabel during our stay, and look forward to visiting again...

Evergem was a great spot outside of the city.

Evergem was a great spot outside of the city. It avoids parking/ charges for cars which are in place. We walked to a local restaurant, La Bussola, and would recommend. The food was superb; really great mommas Italian style cooking and very reasonable value too. Our children really enjoyed. Brielken tram stop is free to park and just a 20 minute ride to the Castle in the centre (€3 per ride or bulk buy tram rides/City Card includes tram for free) From Sept 2025 this route from Brielken into the city will be closed for renovation but buses can be caught/drive to another tram line.

The Owner dis à great job at offering a very nice hotel in the area as the other options are very poor. Their take on renovating this train station is great. Decoration is on point. It’s comfortable and has everything you need during your stay. The self-check-in works great. Staff was very flexible when we showed up for breakfast but had forgotten to reserve before hand. They went out of their way to make sure we could eat everything on the menu like other guests. It’s also super clean which is also a plus point.

I had an amazing experience staying at Gare 55 Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone. The hospitality was excellent, they highly care about your comfortable stay. The rooms are clean, modern design and easily self-access. Located in a calm area, it offers a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently located. The breakfast is excellent and everything is fresh. Overall, Gare 55 provided an outstanding experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

I had a very pleasant stay at Gare55 in Evergem. The place has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with tasteful decoration that gives it a unique charm. Everything was impeccably clean, which made the experience even more comfortable. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a quiet, well-kept place with attention to detail. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again.
