You arrive quite late and last minute the host was very welcoming and very kindly organised food for us to be delivered. It’s a quirky place very charming not in the centre but it was fine for what we needed which was just a cozy bed and some food!

The property was located on a really nice part of the city and it was really close to the city center. It also had a nice vibe and was decorated beautifully.

Cosy atmospbere, clean facilities, friendly staff. There is railway station in vicinity with frequent connections to the central railway station. Also, there is bus station for the public transport near the hotel.

Amazing location, great food, superb staff. They also packed a generous breakfast box for us on a morning when we had to travel early for an excursion. The hotel is very chic and comfortable.

Secure parking for the motorcycles .The rooms were very clean the bed was very comfortable The staff on reception were very helpful and efficient and were able to answer all questions about the area .we only had breakfast at the hotel which was excellent somegthing there to suit all taste's. I would highly recommend Castelnou Aparthotel.

Situated in small village, quiet, located centrally to visit Bruxelles, Anvers, Brugges, sea,, Gand, and south Netherlands. Great qualitative renovation job of an old station in a modern, industrial, technical and eco-friendly way. Owners friendly. Practical, cosy and big shared kitchen and living room (in addition to kitchen corner in room). Delicious smells in the whole building. sink, fridge, dishes, microwave in the room. Big bathroom, big shower, soap, shampoo, ... Individual confortable beds (can work for double or twin), we had a 3-bed room (there's only one like this) Dishes and drinks available from vending machine. Breakfast upon request (not tested) You can walk to the village center (butcher, bakery, hairdresser...)

I appreciated everything about my two-night stay at Edgar Guesthouse, and will most certainly return when I am in Gent again. The room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The refined and minimalist style, beautiful wooden furniture, and natural-toned textiles (and fine quality bedsheets, etc) give one a feeling of mental calm (and of being on holiday). Their restaurant around the corner, Edgar kaasbar, has a lovely selection of food and drinks. And I would recommend the Edgar’s breakfast basket. Also, the location is perfect! Very near to the Gent-Dampoort station and you can walk to everything from the guesthouse. Tip-top!

Every single thing was 10/10. Amenities, location, shower, bed, balcony, interior design, and price. If I return to Gent, Kaffee Changé is the only place I would stay. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

A 400-year-old ambiance coupled with artistic interiors. Especially the antique piano in the breakfast room, with its deep bass tones creating an unparalleled musical experience.
