The reception from the hosts was amazing, they simply could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. L'Escale Gourmande exceeded all expectations, if only all holiday lets could be this good.

Libramont was my choice for late check in and the ability to visit the area of the Semois, Rochehaut, forêt d'Anlier and Rochefort. The location seems to expend their zoning and shops. It hosts a successfull an annual agricultural event in July.

Ample parking with a lovely restaurant almost in the grounds of the car park. The hotel has a lovely bar and the breakfast was ample including freshly made omelettes. The staff are super friendly and made us feel very much at home. I will definitely stay here again as its location to the Ardennes is excellent but not remote so that you struggle for food or shops.

final boss receptionist (she, her ;) that not only checked me in on the double, but also booked a table for me in the brasserie across the car park. Comfy bed, window with a view from the quiet room on the top floor as requested. Big bathroom, coffee machine with two shots ready for me. Also got a marc(grappa) and a cookie from the hotel bar Life of Riley!
