Convenient access, easy to find, usually no issues to park on the street in the lovely village. Room - size limited, bed comfy, quiet location, good sleep quality. No A/C, only a window. Tiny "working place". Bathroom - enough space, daylight, no issues with the shower. Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast - no buffet during my stay (most likely the only guest, so makes sense), but decent variety and size. Good restaurant in house.

Guest review

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and the hostess was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly warm, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One of our friends was stung by a bee during our stay, and we were not sure what to do. The hostess took it very seriously and went out of her way to help us. She even called a doctor for us and helped us deal with the situation, which we really appreciated. Her kindness and genuine hospitality made our stay even more special. We truly felt welcomed and cared for. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Alle. It was a really lovely experience!

Such a beautiful area, perfect get away if seeking a peaceful holiday with plenty of things to do if you want a more active break. Thoroughly recommend hiring a kayak. We had a fantastic time paddling down the semois ( 17km) stopping at a beautiful riverside restaurant ( le troquet plage) on the way down. Pizza restaurant in the town was very very good. Loved the little tapas bar ( le barbiche)near the bridge. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy a Belgian beer.

I only stayed for a weekend, it's a small town but very charming-looking with ample woods and nature in all directions. Easy to stay here for a week and not get bored, especially with the town of Bouillon and its incredible citadel only a 30 minute drive away. Also excellent for dog enthusiasts with the gentle river and accessible forests in the area.

The welcome on arrival was amazing. Such a nice couple, couldn’t do enough for us. Even moved their car to allow us to park our motorbike in a safe place. The room was large, the bathroom was large, both very clean. We were given access to living area, and told to feel at home, even could make noise and welcome our friends who were staying at a nearby hotel. Super clean and breakfast was excellent. Thank you 🙏 so much to a lovely couple, they’ve got it 100% right.

What a place. A bit remote but the staff at the hotel sorted us a taxi to a nearby village to a restaurant and bar and I loved, loved staying here. I fell ill over night and I was with two mates on a motorcycling trip, when I woke up in the morning we were told we could stay another night for free untill I felt better. Amazing, I would definitely go back.

This is our second visit to this hotel, whilst travelling back to Calais from Germany. It is a lovely location and perfect for breaking up our journey. The restaurant is really nice and the dinner and breakfast are very good. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

I didn’t expect an appartment, I did expect a hotelroom when I booked. So that was a dissappointment. Finding the appartment in the dark took an hour.
