Travelers who stayed in Nassau near Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) have said good things about A Stone's Throw Away, Ocean West Boutique Hotel, and The Island House.
The island is beautiful but extremely expensive. The food is “OK” but not great; definitely nit in comparison to the price. Def recommend island hopping trips, because that is the real treasure to experience; the rest (sun, pool, beach) can be found elsewhere and much cheaper Be sure to visit Island house for the best food and sunsets on the island at Shima
This resort is breathtaking! The pools were amazing, the ocean and beach were beautiful, the Waterpark was so much fun and every single staff member was courteous and helpful. It is pricey, but I would go back in a heartbeat. You will not regret staying at the beautiful Baha Mar!
I loved the city. I ate at Goldies all the time. I enjoyed their local breakfast trucks. $2-$3 for the local breakfast. I enjoyed the beaches and everywhere I visited. I just didn't like where I stayed.
I was disappointed with the lack of service and non friendly staff as well as tourist. Although I did like the level of security around Atlantis. Wish the band making machine worked. It was inconvenient showing pink passes. I felt like a second class citizen at times
Truly a beautiful place with lovely people! The views are amazing!!! We ate a a Greek restaurant downtown that was good and the Conch Soup and sky juice at the tiki bar down the street from margaritaville was the Best!!! The taxi drivers are truly nice and trustworthy. They offer historical tours as well as they are very knowledgeable.
EXPENSIVE! 12% TAX PLUS ATLANTIS TAKES 15% GRATUITY OFF EVERY PURCHASE EVEN IF ITS JUST A BAG OF CHIPS. Dinners and Breakfast restaurants on property are overpriced! Literally $7 for a slice of pizza or $28 for a burger. The Atlantis is aesthetically beautiful but they treat their staff terribly with such low wages and they laid off 700 senior employees so they are understaffed. Water park is great but I hate that they closed rides for no reason or stopped the waves in the RAPID RIVER. Stupid thing to say BUT its the little things that annoyed me most. Pool close early, and island 9pm curfew can ruin plans too. Also the staff is very straight faced, need some enthusiasm, but with that low pay and being overworked who wouldn't be. Beach is nice can't complain about that. Casino is fun too but there no other entertainment since everything is till closed due to COVID.
Paradise Island, Nassau
The outside property is beyond beautiful and so much more than you could ever imagine. The inside of the hotel, lobby, casino, restaurant and bars are so clean and nice. The access to the private beach is simple and easy to get to. The people and staff at the Atlantis are so nice, could not ask for nicer people Everyone was so helpful. There is so much there at the Atlantis that you don’t need to go anywhere else. The water park it amazing and so fun...
Close to the airport. Fantastic service, arranged airport pick up and drop off. If you are overnighting in nassau for onward travel the next day as we were (to Exuma) the Hotel is brilliant. So much so we have changed a booking for the return and will stay there. There are some great places to eat within minutes walk. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
Breakfast was wonderful. The general manager Peatik Mehta was awesome. He took good care of my group and I and ensure we enjoyed our say. The Bar was great and great service on the rooms. The location of the hotel is right across from the beach and allowed quick access to the Bahamian life!!!
Paradise Island, Nassau
Great location, walking distance to Atlantis - pool was nice, but doesn't get a lot of sun time - all inclusive is great for this location, food was excellent! Staff very friendly and helpful, fun shows and dance music, and a great bar.
For an airport hotel this was amazing! Micah picked me up at 9 in the evening and took me back for 7 in the morning. The suite was great and stocked with the best mini bar including lots of snacks that I was really ready for.
Only place less than $200/day. No staff, address not clear (Viking Hill was only sign), bed assignment mixed up, 15 km from Nassau but only 2.6 km from airport. I had a rental car so could manage.
We will definitely be back! Hotel was a great location! The restaurant on site was delicious! Free breakfast! Everything was within walking distance. Atlantis was a major perk!
The location and the locals were amazing! Walking distance from everywhere. The room was so clean and the view was amazing!! the hotel was not overcrowded at all.

Fantastic hotel, lovely experience, modern and food was awesome. Pictures don't do the hotel justice, it exceeded our expectations. Lovely staff too.
The facilities were ok but most are fully booked so you can’t get full use unless you book before you arrive at the hotel
