Offering two outdoor pools, numerous food and beverage options, SLS at Baha Mar also features free WiFi access is available throughout. This was by far my best hotel/holiday experience to date. If I could give more than 10/10 I would. When I say this resort has something for everyone, that is an understatement. We originally planned to stay here for 5 nights (from 2 July), then depart for Harbour Island for 2 nights then return to Nassau and stay elsewhere – upon retuning to Nassau we checked-out (10mins after arriving and pre-paying) of another well-known 5* hotel in Nassau to return to the SLS as the standard was incomparable. The hotel, facilities and staff are all exceptional. I would like to give a personal thank you to following: Tamika & Sarah on concierge, they went over and above to ensure my partner and I had the very best time, they helped arrange the most amazing birthday surprises and day out for my partner. They were always on hand if/when we needed anything. Tamika went beyond in providing the very best concierge assistance – like no other! Damian (guest services) – excellent support with any requests we had and an extremely fast turnaround. The chef in Cleo (I didn’t catch her name, but her birthday was 6th July) – not only provided us with a tasty breakfast daily but also offered a mass of exceptional recommendations of things to do, she brightened up our mornings. Gardeners (again, didn’t get their names) – they worked on the palm trees around the pools and in the drive to SLS entrance, removed the coconuts! I sometimes feel these staff are overlooked in the contribution they provide to vacation goers, but these guys helped us out when we were lost, needed advice and much more – all with a smile! Shawn (bell boy) – Amazing service, went out of his way continually to help us out. All of the above-mentioned individuals contributed to making this our best holiday ever! We were very grateful for all their time, assistance and consideration! Please, management – recognition is required for all. We are already planning our next trip! See you soon! Thank you!

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and spa center, The Island House is located a 6-minute drive from the closest beach, Nirvana. The hotel has a terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant.... The Island House was the perfect getaway for our family of three. Everyone was so helpful and everything you needed was right on the facility. An extra bonus was a kids easter egg hunt (which included neighbors outside of the facility) and a farmers market.

SLS at Baha Mar, Ocean West Boutique Hotel, and The Island House got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Nassau.
The island is full of history. Most of the taxis we took the drivers were knowledgeable and told stories. Gave great food recommendations and advised where to go. Had a great time and met lots of wonderful kind people. Definitely going back some day.
Very few things to do. Visiting the stairs, the distillery, the cigars/chocolate store, and one of the old restaurants can be done in one day. The pirates' museum and the market weren't worth the time. Everywhere else is so run down.
We visited Nassau 10 years ago and we were so pleased to return. My oh my it has really blossomed since we were there last, with new construction almost everywhere you look. We walked the main streets of Nassau a few times ten years ago and did so again on our visit. We always feel completely safe walking the streets and enjoy the shopping. There are great places to grab a bite or nice restaurants if you feeling more hungry. Don't forget to visit the 'Fish Fry'! Especially the Twin Brothers Restaurant....it's the best fish and chips (with Caribbean spicing) you'll ever eat! The Bahamas are incredibly beautiful wherever you stay. I can't say enough about the water. Nassau and Paradise Island are so beautiful. I highly recommend visiting soon. I can't wait to get back again!!
Very disappointing.Nassau overrun with tourists off cruise ships every day.Touts everywhere. Island generally dilapidated and things like botanical gardens non existent.beaches beautiful but little public access.locals in shops very indifferent and slow to serve. Searched for a waterfront (sea) restaurant with no success. Felt everywhere we went they wanted money money money. Drivers are maniacs.
I honestly could not fault Colony Club for a single thing! The staff are all magical but a special shout-out to Gigi (Manager of Guest Services) for going above and beyond! She waited on our every need and made us feel as though we were the only ones at the inn. Truly recommend Colony, the vibe is great!
The restaurant were very good. All meals were included free of charge. What I did not like is the staff catered to the white population. Example. We were told breakfast was over at 10:30am and we had to take our food to go. As a few other white couples came, this information was not given to them. There needs to be Genuine Hospitality Given to all people regardless of their nationality. Too much money for the treatment received by many of the staff members. A very disappointing trip.
The flat is close to all the attractions in Nassau. Facilities are very new and everything is there. Most importantly, everything is incredibly clean. You would find every hair on the white tiles… Nice balcony, comfortable bed, two air conditioners, easy arrival by code and a good communication with the property owner. It was a pity that I had to leave on the day of arrival for private reasons....
Close to the airport. Fantastic service, arranged airport pick up and drop off. If you are overnighting in nassau for onward travel the next day as we were (to Exuma) the Hotel is brilliant. So much so we have changed a booking for the return and will stay there. There are some great places to eat within minutes walk. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
Nassau
The hotel is right across from a very private, beautiful beach -- we were at the beach every day and there were never more than 4 people in view (and usually no one). Perfect place for people looking for a quiet vacation away from the resorts and tourism. The staff was also amazing, and good food at the restaurant. We would definitely come back.
Atmosphere, staff all very helpful and friendly, general old worlde ambience and history. We booked a suite and had more than enough space, room very comfortable with sofa, comfy chairs, balcony. Location very convenient for wandering round Nassau.
Paradise Island, Nassau
The best things about this place were the staff and the view from our balcony. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and very willing to help and make us as comfortable as possible. The view was amazing. Nassau is a beautiful city.
Paradise Island, Nassau
Absolutely everything. It is a truly exceptional hotel in a truly exceptional setting. A special word for Theo in reception and Reco at the Bell Desk. Great ambassadors for the hotel.
Lots of amenities, clean, modern, spacious. Easy to order food and drinks from wherever you are in the hotel as different bars etc, very easy and good atmosphere.
Good location and nice setting. Reception staff were very helpful. Good views from hotel terrace.
