David Thompson Resort offers accommodations near Saskatchewan River Crossing. Boasting an ATM, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge.... Very comfy bed and the room was clean. The staff or lady as there was one lady only was very pleasant.

Great place for hiking and wildlife! Small town with just a gas station, liquor store and general store. Small community who like to put on events together (they had a corn roast whilst we were here).

The area west of Nordegg offers very good hiking and mountaineering. There are many big mountains to play on as well as a number of less intense hikes to waterfalls and other natural features. Don't expect fancy eating or shopping, this is the honest, unfettered, natural Rockies.

Some of the best hiking and fresh air you can get! Even in March we got a couple short hikes in with no difficulty (obviously plan accordingly with gear, safety etc) So much less crowded than the parks, one of my favourite places!
