Located in the Kicking Horse River Valley surrounded by the Canadian Rocky Mountains, these cabins offer stone fireplaces and antique furniture. The location was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were much more that what you would expect of an included breakfast. We ate two dinners in the restaurant that were as good as any fine dinning establishment.

Just half a mile from Lake Louise, Paradise Lodge and Bungalows offers spacious lodge rooms and fully equipped cabins. The property is surrounded by gardens which include a barbecue and a playground. What a beautiful place, the Paradise bungalows were just beautiful. Immaculately clean , spacious and comfortable. The room has a stove gas fired but it looks wood burning. As soon as the temperature drops the stove comes on. Mind you with heavy september snow it was on pretty constantly. Free coffee at reception and granola bars in the morning. Professional friendly staff, and wonderfully quiet. Just perfect

We had a really great time here .If anyone is looking for a little winter wonderland this is the place. Beautiful place to stay right on the lake. My husband and I went snow shoeing which was a really beautiful trail. Had an amazing dinner and bottle of wine curled up by the fire in the main lodge, service is great. Would highly recommend checking this place out with your partner. Very romantic.
Field is a beautiful quaint town with endless activities in the area. Back country skiing and ice climbing everywhere! Eat dinner at Truffle Pigs and breakfast or a lunch at the Sliding Door Cafe. The area is incredible.
Cheaper accomodations, beautiful scenery, great information center, and nearness to local attractions such as Kicking Horse Mountain and Takakka Falls. I understand that there is a 2 hr walk from Takakka falls that takes in 5 other waterfalls, several as appealing as Takakka Falls that I wish I had known about sooner.
A great town to stay in in Yoho and not far at all from Banff, but much quieter, more homely and more relaxed. Also the setting-off point to see Burgess Shale if you're into fossils so definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.
Field is an historic town with a small population just just off the #1 highway. The Great Divide Lodge is well out of town and on the main highway opposite a lake. It has an interesting historic background; was rebuilt in 1961 and is now in need of an upgrade. The Lodge provides high priced rustic basic accommodation.
This tiny BC mountain town packs a lot of punch. Great food (truffled Pig, Emerald lake lodge) , incredible scenery and some of the best hiking and wildlife opportunities. A very Canadian Rocky Mountain feel.
Everything was perfect. The apartment was really nice and clean. The owner was very nice and helpful. The location is very convenient; close to both Lake Louise and places in Yoho National Park.
