Just half a mile from Lake Louise, Paradise Lodge and Bungalows offers spacious lodge rooms and fully equipped cabins. The property is surrounded by gardens which include a barbecue and a playground. The layout is excellent. We love the little kitchen in the middle and two bedrooms on the opposite sides.
Set amid the Canadian Rockies in Banff National Park, this hostel features an on-site cafe and 2 self-catering guest kitchens. It includes private storage for guests and acts as a ski pass vendor. I like the room, kitchen, washroom it’s so clean even if it’s shared bathroom and kitchen and the staff are very friendly...
Featuring a heated indoor pool and hot tubs, this Lake Louise hotel offers 2 on-site restaurants and a lounge. Guest rooms include views of the surrounding mountains. Our room is exactly what we wanted. When we did have issues with the TV the staff was there immediately and happy to help us. Great customer service.
This Golden, British Columbia guest accommodations is set between Lake Louise and Golden’s Kicking Horse Resort. Loved the chalet, the view, privacy, river nearby. Davin was very helpful and even cut the fire wood for us for campfire. Overall amazing experience!
In Banff National Park and the village of Lake Louise, this hotel features an indoor hot tub. Free Wi-Fi and satellite TV are provided in all rooms. Rooms were small but really clean and beds were so comfy. Great location. We will definitely stay again.
We stayed at the Emerald Lake Lodge outside of Field. Notwithstanding this, the village itself is quite interesting. To stay in the village overnight you have to be impervious to train noise. The mountains surrounding Field and the attractions close by are outstanding. It's beauty surpasses Lake Louise, in my opinion.
We had a really great time here .If anyone is looking for a little winter wonderland this is the place. Beautiful place to stay right on the lake. My husband and I went snow shoeing which was a really beautiful trail. Had an amazing dinner and bottle of wine curled up by the fire in the main lodge, service is great. Would highly recommend checking this place out with your partner. Very romantic.
Field is a beautiful quaint town with endless activities in the area. Back country skiing and ice climbing everywhere! Eat dinner at Truffle Pigs and breakfast or a lunch at the Sliding Door Cafe. The area is incredible.
Cheaper accomodations, beautiful scenery, great information center, and nearness to local attractions such as Kicking Horse Mountain and Takakka Falls. I understand that there is a 2 hr walk from Takakka falls that takes in 5 other waterfalls, several as appealing as Takakka Falls that I wish I had known about sooner.
A great town to stay in in Yoho and not far at all from Banff, but much quieter, more homely and more relaxed. Also the setting-off point to see Burgess Shale if you're into fossils so definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.
Field is an historic town with a small population just just off the #1 highway. The Great Divide Lodge is well out of town and on the main highway opposite a lake. It has an interesting historic background; was rebuilt in 1961 and is now in need of an upgrade. The Lodge provides high priced rustic basic accommodation.
Friendly staff, very nice location and so close to nature. Breakfast is well prepared and delicious.
Quiet and relaxed resort, very friendly staff
