Featuring garden views, Lovely Green Gable Home in Miscouche features accommodations, free bikes, a shared lounge, a garden and barbecue facilities. The house that indeed looks a lot like Anne´s Green Gables is in a beautiful spot, has a big garden and meadows around it and even offers a view on to the sea. Staying there has been most relaxing, the owner Anita is incredibly friendly, hospitable and very helpful. All the rooms and bathrooms, seating area upstairs (equipped with tea sets, coffee, fresh fruits and biscuits) are extraordinarily cozy and very tastefully arranged. Also in the big garden are a lot of chairs to just sit and watch the beautiful setting. Amazing! It´s a good starting point to visit Belmont Provincial Park, Miscouche and Summerside - travelling by car is recommended, however. The Confederational Trail - that you can hike or cycle throughout the whole island - runs not far from the house.
Set in Miscouche, Sunbury Cove Winery offers accommodations with free WiFi and TV, as well as a shared lounge and a garden. A patio with garden views is offered in every unit. The hosts were wonderful—friendly and fun to talk to, and helpful with touring suggestions. The breakfasts were fabulous, the whole house immaculate and beautifully decorated. The location is terrific, easy access to everywhere. The room was small, but everything else compensated, and there were plenty of other spaces in the house that we could use. The island (our third visit) is just beautiful. We stayed an extra day 3days total) and we’ll be back!
Overlooking Bouctouche Bay, this inn is just a 5-minute drive from La Dune de Bouctouche Beach. It features an on-site farm and farm market store, as well as rooms with a spa bath. Very accommodating as we arrived very late. Friendly and inviting, and a nice home cooked breakfast.
Offering an indoor swimming pool, Traveler's Inn Prince Edward Island features an on-site restaurant for dinner and lounge area for drinks. very pleased with our 2 day stay - nice comfortable clean room and a delicious breakfast with lots of choices! very friendly staff.
This Prince Edward Island bed and breakfast is about 10 minutes’ drive from Linkletter Provincial Park. It offers a daily breakfast, free bike rentals and unique rooms with a flat-screen TV. Everything. This must be the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Beautiful decor, wonderful hosts who couldn't do enough for you and the breakfasts were exceptional. Would recommend to anybody
Found Hwy 2 through PEI to be littered with unkept properties, signage poor, coastal roads were hard to get too and disappointing as compared to New Brunswick, NovaScotia and Cape Breton, wouldn't waste my time on PEI again
Please delete the former post by Sheila - we ended up transfering our stay to the Rodd Crowbush resort after a mix-up with our car rental. The above pertains to that destination so they should get the credit!
The recent renovations looked amazing
