The cliff that the Ocean Wilderness Inn sits on is wonderful for watching the Olympic peninsula mountains change colour in sunsets, whales breaching, birds and freighters passing every hour. Always something to watch from a comfortable lawn chair.

Quiet area, with some lovely beaches and creeks to explore. Enjoyed wildlife spotting, from Harbour Seals to Humming birds . 15 Mins drive from Sooke. The Restaurants and Eateries we tried were all fine, but the area was maybe in need of one or two more evening eating options for a B&B traveller. Lucky to be in town the week of the Sooke Art Exhibition , - a hidden gem. Presented in the local sports hall, the art was of a very high quality, as you might expect to find in a far more prestigious gallery.
