Located in the countryside 10 minutes east of Sicamous, BC and 45 minutes west of Revelstoke, BC, the Forge & Songbird Guest house features a queen bed and views of the mountains. Forge & Songbird is set in beautiful countryside about 10 minutes drive from the town of Sicamous. The house, the amenities and the hosts were amazing. My beautifully appointed room with immaculate en-suite bathroom was comfortable, clean and came complete with a tv, water in the fridge and even robes. The hosts Jo and Andy made me feel very at home from the first moment and we sat up chatting on the deck watching a thunderstorm play out over the hills. The property has an indoor hot tub and a giant hot tub thing that you can exercise in - though during my one night stay I never got around to using these. The homemade breakfast shared with me over coffee and conversation started my day perfectly. Highly recommended.
Conveniently located on the Trans-Canada Highway, this Sicamous motel provides free Wi-Fi. A balcony or patio and a refrigerator are included in all rooms. Sicamous town center is just 1.2 mi away. Everything was so clean and all staff were very helpful with accommodating us with getting ground floor suite due to physical limitations. By far the best place to stay..made us feel like we were home.
Located in Malakwa, 7 miles from Taft, Aronia berry Farm has a garden and free WiFi. The location was very scenic, the breakfast were more than anticipated. Joerg was an excellent host, introduced us to the aronia berry, went out of his way to ensure our comfort. Would definitely recommend this place!!
Located in Malakwa, Last Spike Lodging offers accommodations with a balcony. All units are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a fully equipped kitchen with a an oven, a microwave and coffee machine. The lodge was 'off the beaten track', and secluded. It had a lovely rustic feel but was very well equipped with everything you would need. Shower facilities were excellent and lots of nice big towels provided. Beds and living room were really comfy and the place was very clean. The owner was away during our stay but was easy to get hold of and there were other people available locally to help with any problems. Everyone was very friendly and happy to help. We only booked one night but ended up wishing we had planned to stay longer. Would highly recommend.
Sicamous is so nice with the beach and the lake. Everyone is so friendly and the services are easily accessible. Our stay was a good price, although a little far off from the main part of the community.
The price was good and the room was very clean. Good location. Quiet rooms. Two beds, one was unusable because it was so worn out. The other bed was good. The wifi was very slow at 7:00pm. Breakfast wasn't open until 07:00 when the office opened. We left at 06:00 and hit Tim Hortons on the way out of town.
Great town for vacation. Lots of restaurants and grocery. Beachin town was great. Close to other great places. Mara beach, salmon arm, crazy creek, enchanted forest and sky trek. All within 30 minutes.
Busy little tourist hub. Accommodations are expensive no matter where you stay. Gateway to the Okanagan, the National Parks and Vancouver depending on which way you travel. Pub at the hotel was understaffed but very accommodating. Food was good.
All the lakes! Incredible hiking trails to waterfalls. Beautiful area! Try out Bahama Johns for lunch or dinner. Good food and excellent service. Outdoor patio right on the lake! Ask for Kyla!
Peaceful lakeside town. Apparently the houseboat capital of Canada, we were lucky to go just before peak season started, so it's quiet and serene, with only a few people travelling on the lake. We saw a lots of boats at the marinas as well as in storage. The town itself is walkable and has nicely tended local parks. There are lots of beautiful spots to stop and explore in all directions; we came from Banff and took the highway to Kelowna; there are mountains, lakes, vineyards, farms, hills, plains, rivers, creeks and wildlife.
The staff was very friendly & breakfast was great with tons of options, the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. The property was gorgeous with nice landscaping, tons of greenery & gazebos to relax in. The indoor pool, hot tubs & pool area were spotless. The outdoor hot tub & seating area was a nice & private, non of the hotel windows looked onto it
Room was comfortable and clean. Spa was amazing! Joanne and Andrew were very welcoming. And Bo was adorable. We will definitely stay at Forge & Songbird next time we are stopping in Sicamous.
Modest motel, clean, new bathroom. No hair dryer or ice machine but front desk was accommodating with both. Price was reasonable for what I got as hotel prices are high anyway.
Very conveniently located and the town was friendly. Many amenities such as Restaurants and groceries within walking distance. Excellent restaurant behind the hotel.
Wonderful staff and very nice clean little motel. Perfect place to get off the highway in Sicamous. Will definitely be staying there again when I pass through.
